The Keeper starts Graveyard Keeper 2 stuck in one outfit, and the game never announces when that changes. Outfits arrive as quest rewards, you click them in your inventory, and they seem to vanish. They haven’t. They’re being held until you have somewhere to put them, and that somewhere is a single piece of furniture you build in your house.
Quick answer: Research Suit Up! in the Building tech tree, craft a Dresser With Mirror in your house, then interact with it to change hair, beard, and clothes.
What the Dresser With Mirror lets you change
Every appearance option in the game lives inside one Customization menu, opened at the dresser. There is no separate barber, tailor, or mirror elsewhere in the Town.
- Hairstyle
- Hair color
- Beard and facial hair
- Clothes, drawn from outfits you’ve collected
- Clothes color, tuned per element of the outfit
None of it touches your stats. Outfits are purely cosmetic, and armor you craft and equip stays hidden underneath your chosen clothes unless the Keeper is actually in a fight.

The blueprint sits behind Suit Up!, an early node in the Building tech tree that follows Woodworking I. On its own that isn’t enough, because the dresser needs metal and glass parts. Bronze Works and Glass, both early unlocks in the Metallurgy tech tree, cover the rest.

Six crafted items go into the build, all produced at stations you’ll already be using in the opening hours.
| Material | Amount | Made at | From |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wooden Planks | 4 | Woodworking Bench | Boards |
| Bronze Details | 2 | Anvil | Bronze Ingots |
| Glass | 2 | Furnace | Sand and fuel |
Customization stays locked until you’re through the tutorial and into your own house, so there’s no way to restyle the Keeper in the first stretch of the game.
Build the dresser and apply a new look
You’ll know it worked the moment you hit Apply, since the Keeper’s model updates on the spot and keeps the new look as you walk around the house. If the Clothes row shows nothing but your starting outfit, the dresser is fine — you simply haven’t registered any others yet.
How to get more outfits
Outfits only come from quests. Side quests and story beats hand them out as rewards, and there’s no merchant selling them and no workbench recipe for making your own. Producing Fabric, Lace, and Clothes is still worth doing, but those are trade goods for selling or shipping to the Town warehouse to grow businesses there, not wearable items.
When a new outfit lands in your inventory, click it once. It disappears from the bag, which looks like a bug, but that click is what permanently registers the outfit in your dresser’s clothing list.
The wardrobe covers a decent spread of the game’s factions and trades, including monk, farmer, pilgrim, long coat, and alchemist looks, with more turning up as the campaign opens out. Between those and the per-element color sliders, the Keeper you finish the game with doesn’t have to look anything like the one you started with.
