Every one of the 18 pets, the eggs they hatch from, their passive effects, and the strongest three-slot combinations.

Every one of the 18 pets, the eggs they hatch from, their passive effects, and the strongest three-slot combinations.

Update 2.0 added pets to Greedy Growers, and each one runs a passive effect the moment you place it in your plot. There are 18 pets in total, spread across Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic rarities, and you can have three active at once. Pets come out of eggs bought with Tickets, so the whole system loops back to how much farming you put into the Farmer’s Market.

Quick answer: Buy an egg from the Pet Shop next to the Farmer’s Market using Tickets, place the egg in your plot, and wait for it to hatch into one of that egg’s possible pets. Equip up to three pets at a time to stack their passives.

Eggs, ticket costs, and possible pets

The Pet Shop sits right beside the Farmer’s Market. Each egg is tied to a rarity tier and a fixed pool of pets, and higher-cost eggs pull from rarer pools. You pay in Tickets, drop the egg into your plot, and it hatches into one random pet from that egg’s list.

Note: The Magpie, from the Mythic Egg, can occasionally hand you free Pet Eggs, and those bonus eggs can be any of the rarities above.

How to earn Tickets for eggs

Tickets come mainly from the Farmer’s Market. Talk to the Farmer’s Market NPC to see the current fruit requests, grow the crops it wants, and hand them in to fill the offers. A full set of offers can pay out up to 200 Tickets.

Reward size scales with fruit quality. Higher-rarity fruit and fruit carrying mutations pay far more Tickets than plain low-rarity crops, so it is worth submitting your best harvests. The request board refreshes every 24 hours, giving you a fresh batch of offers each day. You can also pick up Tickets from Greedy Growers codes and by completing the in-game Index.

Every pet and its passive

Passives fall into a few broad jobs. Some pets fetch extra fruit or seeds, others speed growth, apply specific mutations, boost fertilizer, or level your other pets faster. Here is what each one does when placed in your plot.

Best pet setups by goal

No single trio wins every situation, so match your three slots to what you are farming. Magpie is one of the highest-value picks because its bonus Pet Eggs feed the whole system. Sheep speeds up leveling your other two pets, and Woodpecker adds extra tree seeds. Robin supplies seeds that can come pre-mutated, Cat shortens growth times, and Dog is the choice when a mutation weather event is active.

A solid all-round trio is Robin, Woodpecker, and Cat. Keep Robin and Woodpecker locked in for steady seeds, then rotate the third slot between Cat, Dog, Turtle, and Sheep depending on your current session.

Equip slots and confirming a hatch

You can equip three pets at once by default, and extra slots are available for Robux through the Pet Shop’s “+1 Egg Slot” option. A pet’s passive only counts while the pet is placed in your plot, so swapping the active trio changes which effects are running.

You know an egg worked when it finishes hatching in your plot and the pet appears in your collection, ready to place. If an egg has not hatched yet, leave it in the plot and keep playing, since hatching happens over time rather than instantly. Chicken’s passive raises the level pets hatch at, so keeping it equipped while eggs incubate gives you stronger pets from the start.
