The Jurassic Update turns Grow a Chicken Fighter’s island into a temporary event zone with its own quest track, its own egg, and a boss-style chicken that only stirs during Admin Abuse. It layers on top of the usual coop loop rather than replacing it, so your PIT runs and offline egg laying keep working while the event is live.
Quick answer: Start the Jurassic Event, open the Jurassic Event Pass to see its quests, then pick up the eggs scattered around the island and carry them to the Ancient Egg to grow it. Growing the Ancient Egg and finishing pass quests pays out Dinosaur Eggs, which hatch the prehistoric chickens; the Stone King Chicken only becomes available during an Admin Abuse event.
What the Jurassic Update adds
Five pieces make up the update, and they feed into each other. Quests fund the pass, the pass and the Ancient Egg fund Dinosaur Eggs, and Dinosaur Eggs are where the new chickens and the event mutation come from.
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Jurassic Event | The event hub that runs the quest track, island egg collecting, and prehistoric chicken unlocks. |
| Jurassic Event Pass | A quest-driven reward track paying out Dinosaur Eggs and limited chickens. |
| Ancient Egg | A shared egg you grow by returning collected island eggs; bigger size means bigger rewards. |
| Dinosaur Egg | The new event egg that hatches the prehistoric chickens. |
| Jurassic Mutation | A rare mutation that can roll while you farm and hatch during the event. |
| Stone King Chicken | Event content tied to Admin Abuse, announced in-game when the King wakes up. |
Everything runs from the island you already play on. The Shop, Rewards, Flock, Rebirth, and Arena buttons stay in place, and the event sits beside them rather than locking anything off.

Run the steps in this order and you avoid the most common time sink, which is collecting island eggs before you know which quests are asking for them.

Ancient Egg: collect island eggs to grow the payout
The Ancient Egg is the one part of the event that visibly changes as you play. Eggs spawn around the Jurassic Event area, you pick them up, and you carry them back to the Ancient Egg to feed it. The more you deposit, the larger it gets, and the larger it gets the better the rewards it hands out.
You know a deposit landed because the Ancient Egg grows. If it is not growing, you are either holding eggs you never turned in or you have already collected everything currently spawned in your server, in which case wait for respawns or hop to a fresh server.
Jurassic Event Pass quests and rewards
The pass is quest-gated rather than time-gated. You complete objectives, the track advances, and the tiers pay out Dinosaur Eggs plus limited chickens that are only available while the event is running. Nothing arrives automatically, so open the pass and claim each tier as it unlocks.
Tip: quest objectives usually overlap with things you would do anyway, like hatching and fighting. Stacking an egg-collecting lap on top of a PIT cycle finishes multiple quest lines in the same session.
The in-game Update Log is the fastest way to confirm what the current patch actually added on your client, since it lists new mechanics and new content separately.

Dinosaur Egg and the prehistoric chickens
The Dinosaur Egg is the update’s new egg type and the only route to the prehistoric chickens. You earn it through Event Pass rewards and Ancient Egg payouts rather than from a chicken that lays it, which means your hatch count is capped by how much event progress you make.
Hatching works the same as every other egg in the game. Collect the egg, open the Flock menu, select the Dinosaur Egg, choose how many to open, and hatch. Each Dinosaur Egg can roll one of several prehistoric chickens, so bank a few before opening if you want to see a wider spread in one go.
Jurassic Mutation: how to roll it
The Jurassic Mutation is a rare event-only roll. There is no quest that grants it and no purchase that guarantees it, so the only approach is volume. Keep farming event progress, keep converting that progress into Dinosaur Eggs, and keep hatching until it lands.
Because it is tied to the event window, it stops being obtainable once the Jurassic content rotates out. Prioritize hatching over hoarding if you specifically want the mutation.
Stone King Chicken and Admin Abuse
The Stone King Chicken is not something you can grind toward on your own schedule. It is bound to the Admin Abuse portion of the update, which runs in specific servers when it is live. When it triggers, the game announces it on screen with the line “The Stone King Chicken is waking up!”
That message is your confirmation the event is actually running in your server. If you do not see it, you are in the wrong server and no amount of farming will start it. Admin Abuse sessions in this game have previously been the debut point for limited eggs and secret-rarity chickens, which is why they are worth joining rather than skipping.
No official end date for the Jurassic Event has been confirmed. If you want a notification when event sessions go live, the experience has an in-Roblox Jurassic Event sign-up page.
Keep the normal loop running underneath
The event does not pause anything else. Your chickens still lay eggs while you are offline, the PIT still pays cash, and the TOWER and Arena are still open. If you were mid-way through a rebirth cycle, the permanent money bonus and milestone rewards continue to apply, so there is no reason to hold a rebirth back purely because an event is running.

Treat the Jurassic content as a parallel track. One lap of the island for eggs, one deposit at the Ancient Egg, one pass check, then back to whatever you were already grinding, and the Dinosaur Eggs accumulate without costing you a separate play session.
