Grow a Garden 2 Crates: Every Crate, Price, and What’s Inside

All 14 crates in the Roblox sequel, their Sheckle costs, and which ones to buy first for defense.

All 14 crates in the Roblox sequel, their Sheckle costs, and which ones to buy first for defense.

Crates are how you stock your plot in Grow a Garden 2. Each one is a themed bundle of decorative props, structures, and utilities that you buy with Sheckles and then place down. Some are purely cosmetic, but a handful matter a lot more now that the sequel lets other players sneak in and steal fruit from your garden.

Quick answer: Buy crates from the props shop at the central marketplace using Sheckles, then place the item you receive on your plot. There are 14 crates in total, and the Bear Trap, Fence, and Owner Door crates are the ones to prioritize for stopping thieves.

Crates range from Common all the way up to Mythic, and the price climbs with rarity. A few of the higher-tier crates still have their cost listed as TBA, which means the exact Sheckle amount hasn’t been pinned down yet. Each crate gives you one random item from its pool when opened.

How to get crates in Grow a Garden 2

Crates come from a single place. Head to the central marketplace, the hub area that also holds the plants and gears shops, and look for the props shop. Opening it shows the full crate catalog along with a short description of what each container holds.

Travel to the central marketplace at the middle of the map. This is the shared hub that every player’s garden surrounds.
Interact with the props shop to bring up the crate catalog. Browse the list to check each crate’s rarity, price, and item pool before committing.
Pay the listed Sheckle cost for the crate you want. The crate is added to your inventory, and opening it hands you one random item from its pool to place on your plot.

You’ll know the purchase worked when the crate item lands in your inventory and you can drop it onto your garden. If you’re short on Sheckles, redeemable codes can give you a small head start toward your first few crates.

Best crates to buy first for defense

Most crates are about decoration, but stealing changes the math. Other players can wander into your plot and walk off with your most valuable crops, so the crates that build real barriers are worth grabbing before the cosmetic ones.

  • Bear Trap Crate — Its items are traps you place around your garden, and they stop players from escaping with your crops. This is the strongest defensive option right now.
  • Fence Crate — Walls and fences close off the gaps thieves use to get in. Ring your garden first, then worry about everything else.
  • Owner Door Crate — Once your fences are up, add a door that only opens for you. It completes the perimeter without locking you out.

With 14 crates to work through, you can mix defensive picks with the lighter cosmetic ones like the Bench, Light, and Roleplay crates once your plot is secure. Start with traps and walls, then decorate.
