Grow a Garden Events Schedule: Summer Event Countdown and What’s Next

Updated July 6, 2026 By AllThingsHow Staff 58K playing now

Grow a Garden remains one of the largest active experiences on Roblox, with tens of thousands of players online at any given moment and lifetime visits well into the tens of billions. The developer, The Garden Game, keeps a near-continuous run of in-game events going — mostly week-long content drops that add new plants, pets, and limited-time activities on top of the core planting-and-harvesting loop.

Right now the calendar is led by the Summer event, a beach-themed update that launched July 4, 2026 and runs through July 11. Behind it, a short Watering Wednesday slot and a placeholder for the next major update are already booked in, and the previous headline event, Campfire Part 4, wrapped up right as the Summer event began. Exact windows and current interest for each event are in the schedule below; this page reflects that schedule as of July 6, 2026, and we update it as things change.

Current and upcoming events

Summer event (through July 11)

The Summer event went live July 4, 2026 at 4:30 PM ET and is scheduled to run through July 11 at 4:00 PM ET. The update brings a limited-time Fourth of July merchant, new plants and pets, summer-themed rewards, and a batch of quality-of-life changes. It’s easily the biggest draw on the calendar right now, with over half a million players marking themselves interested.

Watering Wednesday (July 8)

A short event called Watering Wednesday, subtitled Admin Abuse, is scheduled for July 8, 2026, running from 6:00 to 6:30 PM ET. It’s a brief, half-hour window rather than a full content update — the kind of quick, low-stakes event the developer tends to slot in between bigger drops. About 50,000 players have flagged interest so far.

Next update (July 11-18)

A placeholder for the next major update is already on the calendar for July 11 through July 18, 2026. As is typical for Grow a Garden, the developer has booked the slot before saying what it contains — there’s nothing announced yet beyond the window itself. Interest is already past 220,000, which shows how much attention these unannounced slots draw even before contents are known. The back-to-back Campfire, Summer, and Next Update windows also line up on roughly the same weekly rhythm, suggesting that’s the pace the developer is currently keeping.

Recently ended: Campfire Part 4

The previous headline event, Campfire Part 4, ran from June 27 to July 4, 2026, closing out just as the Summer event began. It added a fourth chapter of the campfire storyline, two new campfire activities, a new season pass, more pets and plants, and a shovel cosmetic. It was the most popular event Grow a Garden has run in recent memory, pulling in more than 700,000 interested players — a sign of just how large this game’s audience has gotten.

From the developers

The official Grow a Garden account posted about the current Summer event shortly after it went live.
