Harpoon a Fish is heading into its busiest stretch since launch. The developer, FirstTry, has two updates landing together on October 24 — a brand-new deep-sea zone and a limited-time Halloween event — with a server-wide Titans battle queued to start the moment those wrap.
The catching game currently draws around about 5,200 players at a time and has logged about 5,700,000 visits since it opened, with about 26,000 players marking it a favorite. New zone and new rarity (October 24–31)
The marquee drop is a brand-new zone stocked with fresh fish for the index, which FirstTry has tied to a new rarity tier. It opens October 24 at 1:00 PM ET (10:00 AM PT, 6:00 PM in the UK) and runs through October 31. It has pulled the most interest of anything on the calendar, with about 3,100 players signed up ahead of launch.
Halloween event (October 24–31)
Alongside the new zone, FirstTry is running a one-week Halloween event that opens at the same time on October 24 and closes October 31. The developer describes it as a limited-time weather effect and a limited-time mutation, available only for that week, plus more than a dozen new Halloween-themed fish to catch. Around about 590 players have marked it as interested so far.
Titans Are Coming (October 31 – November 7)
The moment the Halloween week ends, a Titans event takes over. FirstTry says titans will rise from the depths and that the whole server fights over them, with only one player able to claim each — and they may carry special abilities. It starts October 31 at 1:00 PM ET, the same slot as the earlier drops, and runs until November 7. Interest is building, with about 2,000 players signed up.
The back-to-back scheduling points to a roughly weekly update rhythm: the recent Baits update ran October 7–17 and the launch window opened in early October, so FirstTry has been shipping new content about once a week. Exact start and end times for every event are in the schedule above.
