Haze Seas Tier List: Best Fruits and Races Ranked

Where every Devil Fruit, sword, race, and fighting style lands in the current Haze Seas meta.

Where every Devil Fruit, sword, race, and fighting style lands in the current Haze Seas meta.

Your Devil Fruit and Race decide how fast you clear islands, how you hold up in duels, and how easily you move across the map in Haze Seas. Some Fruits erase whole packs of enemies with one skill, while others barely scratch a boss. The rankings below sort every Fruit and Race by real in-game performance so you know what to keep and what to swap out the moment something better drops under a tree.

Quick answer: Dragon, Electricity, Gum, Shadow, Phoenix, and Dough are the top-tier Fruits, and D. Clan is the best Race for its exclusive Conqueror’s Haki. If you roll any of these, keep them and build around them instead of rerolling.

Rankings reflect the July 2026 patch that launched the Haze Seas rework. Placements weigh damage output, farming speed, PvP viability, and mobility, since a Fruit that shreds groups in PvE can still miss every projectile against a live opponent.

S Tier Fruits: the ones worth building around

These six Fruits solve multiple problems at once. They pack heavy area damage, strong single-target burst, and mobility or transformations that scale into the endgame. Dragon sits at the very top because it covers farming, bossing, and PvP without leaning on a single skill. Dough is the cleanest pure-farming pick since every ability in its kit hits an area, so you never have to cherry-pick moves during a quest grind.

A Tier Fruits: strong picks with one catch

Every Fruit here is a keeper. Each one carries either high farming throughput or real PvP pressure, but a single drawback holds it back from the top group. Charge-up animations, short range, projectiles that are easy to dodge, or mastery-locked damage are the usual reasons.

Fruit & RarityWhy it ranks hereBest for
Tremor
Tremor [Legendary]
Tectonic Surge fires a heavy straight-line beam and the kit centers on AoE, but the charge windup leaves you open to punishes.PvE farming, AoE DPS
Wolf
Wolf [Legendary]
Finger Minigun deals devastating frontal damage and Transformation raises the whole kit, though short range hurts against longer-reach Fruits.Close-range PvP, DPS
Leopard
Leopard [Legendary]
Claw Barrage clears groups and most moves have wide AoE, but damage drops hard without the Transformation active.Farming, AoE DPS
Venom
Venom [Legendary]
Hydra Flight gives free repositioning and the kit has decent AoE, but its projectiles have readable paths that are easy to dodge in PvP.PvE farming, mobility
Magma
Magma [Legendary]
Its passive lets you walk on water and abilities carry solid AoE, but the main damage moves sit behind mastery progression.PvE farming, exploration
Light
Light [Rare]
Teleport and Light Fly give some of the best movement at Rare tier, and Light Sword plus Sacred Jewels hit fast, but its best moves unlock late.PvP, mobility, late-game PvE
Darkness
Darkness [Legendary]
Dark Vortex and Black Hole group enemies for big follow-ups while Black Dragon and Darkness Emperor deal burst, but core skills unlock at higher levels.PvP crowd control, AoE farming

B Tier Fruits: reliable through the mid-game

These Fruits carry you through leveling and early bossing without embarrassing themselves. Most work well for AoE farming or exploration, then fall behind once an A or S option becomes available. Keep them if they fit your current build, but you should upgrade when a stronger roll appears.

Fruit & RarityWhy it ranks hereBest for
Magnet
Magnet [Legendary]
Heavy early AoE and Railgun clears groups, but slow charge-ups make it a liability in PvP.Early PvE farming
Ice
Ice [Rare]
Ice Surge and Ice Age handle early quests, and Water Walk plus Ice Skate cover mobility, but the best moves are level-locked.Early farming, exploration
Soul
Soul [Legendary]
Cloud Cruising travels well and Thunderstrike helps in duels, but its AoE lags behind other Legendaries.Early PvP, exploration
Love
Love [Rare]
Cupid Fly gives movement and Charm plus Love Pistol clear early groups, but DPS falls below most Fruits.Early farming, mobility
Flame
Flame [Rare]
Flame Emperor blasts early quests and Fire Pillar makes a damage radius, but it is easily replaced once better Fruits land.Early AoE farming
Gravity
Gravity [Rare]
Gravity Pressure and Meteor Rain deliver strong PvE area damage, but Rock Fly only unlocks at Level 90, leaving early play without mobility.PvE, AoE, exploration
Mammoth
Mammoth [Uncommon]
Tackle repositions with damage and Stomp clears small areas, but the kit leans on Transformation and drops off outside it.AoE, PvE
Buddha
Buddha [Uncommon]
Transformation makes it the best tank for PvE bosses and Pillars plus Explosion farm early, but it has no mobility skill.Tanking, early game
String
String [Uncommon]
Overheat locks an enemy for a big single hit and Web String helps traversal, but the rest of the kit deals low damage.Exploration, early game, CC
Snow
Snow [Uncommon]
Golem Run and Boulder Throw clear early PvE groups, but its DPS trails other Logia Fruits and drops off quickly.Early PvE farming
Gas
Gas [Rare]
Gas Zone and Iris Detonation clear groups and Gas Mode boosts speed, but it lacks the DPS to stay relevant long term.Early farming, mobility

C and D Tier Fruits: replace these first

C Tier Fruits work for the opening hours and nothing more. D Tier Fruits are the weakest in the roster, so swap them out the instant anything else spawns. Spin, Circus, and Vanish have no meaningful late-game use, and Vanish is the single worst Fruit overall since its invincibility does nothing in a fight.

Fruit & RarityTierWhy it ranks here
Smoke
Smoke [Uncommon]
CSmoke Flight helps you move, but the flashbang has no follow-up and the kit runs short on damage.
Operation
Operation [Rare]
CTack and Levitation clear early groups, but DPS turns inconsistent as you progress.
Sand
Sand [Uncommon]
CSand Eruption dents early enemies, but its mobility takes heavy grinding and damage can’t keep pace mid-game.
Paw
Paw [Uncommon]
CGreat early AoE for farming, but zero PvP viability and a fast damage falloff.
Barrier
Barrier [Common]
CIts shield helps you survive early, but the damage moves need mastery grinding that isn’t worth it.
Spin
Spin [Common]
DSpinning Cyclone is its best move and still deals tiny damage in a small area. Replace it right away.
Bomb
Bomb [Common]
DDetonation and Booger Blast clear the opening stages, then damage collapses as you move on.
Circus
Circus [Common]
DCarnival Express deals close-range damage, but the kit is too weak to hold above C Tier.
Vanish
Vanish [Common]
DClones distract and chip a little, but invincibility has no combat impact, making it the weakest Fruit in the game.
Spike
Spike [Common]
DSpike Thorns unlock early for easy access, but limited moves, no mobility, and low DPS cap its value.

Haze Seas Race tier list

Every player starts with a random Race after the opening spin, and you can reroll using Race Spins from daily rewards, codes, drops, and the AFK Chamber on the Level 350 Island. Races are ranked on how much their passives help in PvP, PvE, survivability, and movement. D. Clan is the clear winner because it is the only Race that grants Conqueror’s Haki.

TierRaces
SD. Clan, Dragonborne
AHuman, Demon, Fishborne
BBeastborne
CSkyborne

Race V2 upgrades matter as much as the base pick. You unlock them at Level 2200 by talking to the Race Engineer NPC on Sea 2’s first island, then completing a repeatable quest that asks you to defeat a Sea Beast, open 50 chests, and defeat the Zenith Boss. The final step costs 1,000,000 Money and 100 Gems, and you can repeat it for any Race you switch to.

Race & RarityV1 / V2 passivesWhy this tier
D. Clan [Mythical]V1: +5% Health, +5% Stamina, Conqueror’s Haki (250 Stamina). V2: +10% Health, +10% Stamina, Conqueror’s Haki (200 Stamina)Best durability and endurance in the game, plus exclusive Conqueror’s Haki. The V2 Stamina discount lets you cast Haki more often.
Dragonborne [Legendary]V1: +10% Health, +10% Health Regen, +25% first Skywalk boost. V2: +10% Health, GlideTankier than most Races with passive regen for long fights, and V2 Glide adds combat and exploration mobility.
Human [Common]V1: +25% Walkspeed below 70% HP. V2: +50% Walkspeed below 70% HP, +1 Observation DodgeStrong escape and chase speed in critical moments and an extra dodge for PvP, though nothing triggers at full health.
Demon [Rare]V1: 2.5% Lifesteal. V2: 3% Lifesteal, 10% chance for a Hellfire Circle on dashConstant self-healing in any fight, but the Hellfire Circle only fires 10% of the time.
Fishborne [Uncommon]V1: +50% Swim Speed. V2: 2x Swim Speed, 2x Walkspeed for 4s after leaving water, Water ImmunityV2 Water Immunity removes a major Fruit-user weakness, but most bonuses only apply near water.
Beastborne [Uncommon]V1: +20% Walkspeed, +5% Stamina. V2: +50% Walkspeed, +10% StaminaOne of the highest movement bonuses available, but it offers no defense or healing to fall back on.
Skyborne [Uncommon]V1: +50% first Skywalk boost. V2: Glide, 2x first Skywalk powerGreat for crossing islands, but nearly every passive is movement-only with little combat value.

How to pick by playstyle

The raw tiers tell you what is strongest overall, but your best choice depends on what you do most. If you are pure farming, Dough and Dragon clear quests fastest because every skill hits an area. For PvP, Dragon and Electricity bring the most pressure, while Ice and Gas give practical B-tier fight tools if that’s what you rolled.

If you land an A or S Fruit, the smarter move is almost always to keep it and improve your build around it rather than gambling for a perfect mythical. Fruits spawn under trees roughly every 60 minutes and despawn 20 minutes later, so treat any weak D-tier roll as a placeholder while you hunt for something better.
