Silkspeed Anklets are a Yellow Tool that speeds up Hornet’s sprint (Swift Step) and draws a small, continuous amount of Silk while running. They’re obtainable early and sit in a dedicated yellow slot, making them a straightforward upgrade for movement-focused exploration and timed deliveries.
Silkspeed Anklets location (Weavenest Cindril, Far Fields)
The Anklets sit in Weavenest Cindril, a hidden room on the far eastern edge of Far Fields. You’ll reach a hall lined with light pillars; completing a single, uninterrupted sprint across this tunnel reveals the reward pedestal.
Prerequisites
- Needolin (unlocks certain doors; learned after defeating the Widow near Bellhart).

- Swift Step (Hornet’s sprint/run).

While equipped, Hornet runs noticeably faster during Swift Step. The Anklets slowly consume Silk as you sprint; this is minor but persistent, so you’ll want Silk in reserve for fights or long runs. There’s no on/off toggle—unequip the item at a bench to stop its effect. Tools like Weavelight can improve Silk regeneration if you want the speed active more often.

Equip and run
R2/RT to sprint with Swift Step. Watch your Silk spool; if it runs low, stop sprinting to rebuild Silk or defeat enemies to refill.Weavenest Cindril secret — open the Rune Harp hatch
There’s a second secret beneath the pillar tunnel that requires both Silkspeed Anklets and Flea Brew (rewarded for completing the Lost Fleas wish). Running the hall with both effects active opens a trap door to a small chamber containing the Rune Harp relic, which you can trade to Relic Seeker Scrounge in Bellhart for rosaries.

When Silkspeed Anklets are most useful
The speed boost shortens cross-region travel and backtracking, streamlines timed delivery wishes, and makes repositioning out of large enemy attacks quicker. Because the Silk cost is small but constant, they’re ideal for exploration and errands and can be swapped out before extended boss practice if you want to prioritize Silk for combat skills.
Once you’ve unlocked the route, grabbing Silkspeed Anklets takes only a few minutes and pays off across the rest of the run. Pick them up early and you’ll save time on nearly every trip through Pharloom.
