hololive Dreams Reroll Guide: Best 5-Star Characters to Build Around Your Oshi

A full reroll nets about 24 pulls in roughly ten minutes, so aim for your favorite holomem or a top score-support 5-star.

A full reroll nets about 24 pulls in roughly ten minutes, so aim for your favorite holomem or a top score-support 5-star.

Rerolling in hololive Dreams means restarting your first pulls until you land a strong 5-star holomem, and the game hands you enough currency at the start to make this quick. A single reset loop runs about ten minutes, so a few attempts cost little time before you commit to an account.

Quick answer: Finish the tutorial, claim every login and gift reward at once to unlock around 24 pulls, then keep rerolling until you get your oshi as a 5-star or at least one of Houshou Marine, Usada Pekora, Hoshimachi Suisei, or Shirakami Fubuki. To reset, open the Menu at the top right of the title screen and choose Account Deletion.

What a full reroll gives you in hololive Dreams

After the tutorial, collect all rewards in one batch before you pull. That bundle unlocks several separate draws that together add up to roughly 24 chances at a holomem. The base rate for the highest rarity 5-star holomem is 5%.

DrawAmount
Free re-rollable 5-pull1
10-pull with Red Diamonds1
Single pull1
Holodre Gacha Ticket single pulls7
4-star or higher guaranteed ticket1

The 4-star or higher ticket guarantees one solid card, so treat everything else as your shot at a 5-star. A 10-pull costs 2500 Red Diamonds and a single pull costs 250 Red Diamonds, which is why the starter bundle matters so much for a clean early account.

Best 5-star characters to reroll for

The strongest choice is your oshi. Since every holomem can anchor a team of a Leader plus five members, and each has different skins with different skills, a 5-star version of the character you already play will keep you invested. If you want raw score output instead, four 5-stars stand out for their score-support and skill-activation values.

5-star holomemSkill effect
Hoshimachi SuiseiScore support 145% for 10s, skill activation +50%
Houshou MarineScore support 120% for 12s, skill activation +40%
Usada PekoraScore support 115% for 14s
Shirakami FubukiScore support 115% for 14s

Landing one or two of these on top of the guaranteed 4-star-or-better card gives you a strong opening team. If your oshi is among them, that is the ideal outcome. Suisei carries the highest score multiplier and skill-activation boost, so she is the top pick when you only care about clearing and farming charts.

How to reroll in hololive Dreams

Install and open hololive Dreams on iOS, Android, or Steam. The game is free-to-play with optional in-app purchases.
Play through the tutorial. This is short and leads directly into your first pulls once it ends.
Claim every reward in one batch before pulling. This releases the full set of tickets and Red Diamonds that make up your roughly 24 pulls.
Use the free re-rollable 5-pull first. You can redraw it, so keep pulling it until the result is worth keeping before moving on.
Spend the 10-pull, the single pulls, the seven Holodre Gacha Tickets, and the guaranteed ticket. Check your final roster against the target 5-stars above.

How to reset your account and pull again

If the results fall short, clear the account and start over.

Return to the title screen and tap Menu at the top right.
Select Account Deletion from the menu list. This wipes your progress so the tutorial and starter rewards reset.
Repeat the tutorial and reward claim, then pull again. Each loop takes around ten minutes.

When to stop rerolling

Stop as soon as one of two conditions is met. Either your oshi appears as a 5-star, or you pull at least one of the four score-support 5-stars listed above in addition to your guaranteed 4-star-or-better card. You will know the reroll succeeded when that 5-star sits in your holomem list and can be slotted as the Leader of a six-member team.

Aiming higher, such as chasing two specific 5-stars in one account, is possible but adds more loops. Since the 5-star base rate is 5%, most players settle once they hit a single strong card that matches how they want to play. From there, the Holomem Board and skill upgrades let you strengthen that card over time, so a good reroll gives you a foundation rather than a finished team.
