hololive Dreams opens its music library with 154 playable tracks, split into 100 hololive originals and 54 cover songs. Every track carries four charts — Easy, Normal, Hard, and Expert — and Expert difficulty ranges from level 22 up to level 29. The catalog spans solo songs, unit collaborations, and full-group anthems from hololive Japan, Indonesia, English, and ReGLOSS.
Quick answer: Songs unlock in three ways. Some are available automatically from the start, some are bought in the Song Shop with Music Discs, and the rest unlock by clearing a specific member’s holomem Quest.
The rhythm game runs on a six-lane falling-notes system with tap, hold, slide, and flick notes, and it supports solo play, multiplayer, custom charts built on existing songs, and an Auto-Play mode for passive grinding.
How to unlock songs in hololive Dreams
Each track has one obtain method attached to it. Once you unlock a song, it appears in the rhythm stage list and can be played on any of its four difficulty levels or set to Auto-Play. Here is how the three methods work.
| Method | How it works |
|---|---|
| Automatically Unlocked | Available from the start with no requirement. Includes the opening set such as Shiny Smily Story (2022 ver.). |
| Song Shop | Purchased using Music Discs, an in-game currency. Covers tracks like Seishun Archive and Dreaming Days. |
| holomem Quest | Unlocked by completing a specific member’s character quest. Most solo songs sit behind their member’s quest. |
Note: To confirm a song unlocked, open the rhythm stage list. A newly obtained track shows up there immediately and is ready to select. If a member’s song is missing, the most common reason is an incomplete holomem Quest for that talent.

Every song ships with four charts. Easy and Normal serve as the entry tiers, Hard fills the middle, and Expert is the ceiling. Expert levels are spread across 22 to 29, with most sitting around 25 to 26. Only a handful of charts reach the top level of 29, so building through the mid tier before attempting the hardest songs is the practical route.
| Song (example) | Easy | Normal | Hard | Expert |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shiny Smily Story (2022 ver.) | 1 | 8 | 16 | 22 |
| Daydream (Ouro Kronii) | 1 | 9 | 15 | 23 |
| BIBBIDIBA (Hoshimachi Suisei) | 2 | 9 | 16 | 25 |
| Overd (Takane Lui) | 4 | 13 | 19 | 27 |
| Virtualove (Natsuiro Matsuri) | 8 | 14 | 22 | 28 |
| Monsters and Men (Shiori Novella) | 7 | 14 | 20 | 29 |

Generations not yet in the game
The launch roster covers talents up to roughly two years back, so the newest hololive Japan and English groups, FLOWGLOW and Justice, are not present at release. Because those members already have released songs, more tracks are expected to follow when those talents are added as playable characters. No confirmed date for their addition is currently set.
hololive Dreams is free to play with in-app purchases and is available on iOS, Android, and Steam. Working through holomem Quests remains the main way to expand the library, while the Song Shop and automatic unlocks fill in the rest of the catalog as you play.
