Quick answer: Collect all five by interacting with the audio log at (1) Frigid Fortress (inside the main fortress, bottom-left corner), (2) the top-left wooded area (by the Elite Jules patrol area, on a low work station), (3) the nearby camp area a little south and to the right of that wooded spot (by the camp setup), (4) the Sanctuary area (top-left building, just inside in front of the desk), and (5) the Sanctuary area (bottom-right, in the lower outcrop building, inside near the dining tables).
What counts for the Hope and Jones audio logs quest
The quest advances when you activate an audio log pickup using the on-screen interact prompt. There are five logs total, and each one is in a different location, so you must interact with five different pickups to reach 5/5.
Progress does not count in Ranked playlists. If you are trying to finish the quest and the counter never moves, switch to a non-ranked mode and try again.
Hope and Jones audio log locations (all 5)
1) Frigid Fortress (main fortress, bottom-left corner): Go into the main Frigid Fortress structure and check the bottom-left corner of the fortress layout. The audio log pickup is placed indoors in that corner area.
2) Top-left wooded area (near Elite Jules, on a work station): In the top-left corner of the island, head into the wooded area. Near the spot where Elite Jules can be found walking around, the audio log sits on a low work station close to the ground.
3) Nearby camp area (south and to the right of the wooded spot): From the wooded area location, travel a little further south and slightly to the right to reach a small camp area. The audio log pickup is at the camp setup.
4) Sanctuary area (top-left building, in front of the desk): In the Sanctuary area, go to the top-left of the two main points of interest there. Enter the building and look just inside, positioned in front of the desk.
5) Sanctuary area (bottom-right, lower outcrop building near tables): Still in the Sanctuary area, move to the bottom-right side and look for the building tucked down into the outcrop. Inside, the audio log pickup is placed between the tables in the dining area.
How to verify the quest is complete
Open your quest tracker after each pickup and confirm the counter increases. When you have activated all five pickups, the objective shows full progress (5/5) and the quest marks as completed.
Why it doesn’t trigger (common causes)
- You’re in a Ranked playlist: the quest does not count there.
- You reactivated a log you already collected: the objective requires five different pickups in five separate locations.
