Shooting Stars are nighttime beacons that streak across the sky in Aniimo, and they are tied to one specific payoff. When a Shooting Star lands, it can drop a rare Alpha Luminelle at the exact spot it touches down. The catch is that you have to be there to see it happen.

Quick answer: Find a Shooting Star at night, follow it to where it falls, and watch it land. The Alpha Luminelle only spawns if you witness the landing.

When and where Shooting Stars appear

Shooting Stars are a night-only event. They do not appear during the day, so you need the in-game clock to be at nighttime before one shows up in the sky.

Once a Shooting Star is out, it rotates through the sky and keeps returning to the same landing spot. It will circle back to that location repeatedly until you reach it and find the Alpha Aniimo it spawns, so a missed pass is not a permanent loss.

How to spawn the Alpha Luminelle

The spawn is triggered by watching the Shooting Star complete its fall. Follow these steps to make the Alpha Luminelle appear.

Wait for nighttime. Shooting Stars will not appear while it is daytime, so change or wait out the clock until night arrives.

Spot the Shooting Star and follow it. Head toward where it is heading rather than losing track of it, since you need to be nearby when it comes down.

What breaks the spawn

The Alpha Luminelle appears only if you actually see the Shooting Star land. Two situations reset that condition.

  • Missing the landing causes the Shooting Star to rebound from the location, circle the world, and return to that location to land again.
  • After leaving the area, fast travel back; the Alpha Luminelle remains absent until the Shooting Star reaches that spot again.

Stay in the area and keep the falling star in view instead of teleporting away, since both leaving and missing the touchdown force you to wait for another pass.

The Alpha Luminelle you get

Luminelle is an Electric creature that fills a support role, with a base kit that mixes Electric attacks, healing, and a Self-Destruction finisher. It lives along the Tideblossom Coast and evolves from Veilfloat, and its chandelier-like body shifts its glow to match its mood.

You will know the trigger worked when the Alpha Luminelle is standing at the landing spot. Once it has spawned, switching the clock to daytime does not remove it. The Alpha Aniimo stays put at that location even after night ends.
