Go to mail.google.com and log in to your account. After logging in, click on the ‘Active’ button which would be located on the upper right section of the screen. Next, click on the ‘Chat notification Settings’ from the list.
Now, uncheck the ‘Allow chat notifications’ option by clicking on the checkbox, to stop all notifications from Google Chat.
