Hiding a Conversation in Google Chat

To hide a conversation, open Google Chat on your browser or use its application. Click on the three vertical dots in front of the name of the person whose chat you want to deactivate and then select ‘Hide conversation’.

The conversation is now hidden and not visible in the chat section.

Unhiding a Conversation in Google Chat

To unhide a conversation, search for the name of the person whose chat you want to unhide in the ‘Find people and rooms’ and then select it.

Once you click on the name, the conversation becomes visible in the chat section.
