Hsin is a 5-star Electro damage dealer who wields a Rectifier and works fully at S0, so her Resonance Chain is about sharpening what she already does rather than fixing gaps. Each of her six Sequences leans into her Resonance Skill damage, her two Resonance Modes (Unison and Electro Flare), and her survivability. Knowing which nodes actually move the needle keeps you from over-spending.
Quick answer: Stop at S3 for the strongest low-spender value. S2 is the first meaningful damage jump, S3 boosts her Resonance Liberation in both modes, and S6 is a whale-only breakpoint. Skip S4 and S5 unless you’re going all the way to S6.

All six Hsin Sequences at a summary
| Node | Core effect | Priority |
|---|---|---|
| S1 | Radiance Ward for interruption immunity and damage reduction, plus mode buffs | Comfort |
| S2 | +60% to enhanced Heavy Attacks and faster access to them | First real jump |
| S3 | +70% Resonance Liberation damage with strong mode bonuses | Best stop |
| S4 | Teamwide 20% All-Attribute DMG Bonus on triggers | Skip |
| S5 | Illumining Form damage reduction and cheat-death revive | Skip |
| S6 | +40% Resonance Skill DMG, DEF ignore, mode ceilings raised | Whale |

S1 – A Boat to Cross the Rising Tide
Resonance Liberation – Formshift gives Hsin 2 Radiance Ward stacks, with a cap of 2; entering Answering Form removes all of them. If an enemy attack hits Hsin, she spends one stack to prevent interruption and take 60% less damage for 1s. This effect can occur once per second.
The mode buffs are where the offense sits. In Unison, the DMG Multipliers of her Manifold Unison Intro Skills rise by 15%, with each Unison Boon stack adding another 10% up to four stacks. In Electro Flare, entering combat tops Heart of Thunder up to 50 stacks (if below) once every 12s, and the Electro Flare damage from Resonance Skill – Heartward by Moon scales up sharply with her Heart of Thunder stacks.
S2 – the first real damage stop
S2 raises the DMG Multipliers of her enhanced Heavy Attacks in both forms by 60%. That covers Answering Form: Realm Wanderer and Realm Protector, plus Illumining Form: Beholding All Horizons and Stilling All Horizons.
It also smooths her rotation. When Hsin enters combat, it resets the cooldowns for gaining Resolution of Wishes and Law of Heaven and restores an extra 100 points of Answering Heart, once every 12s. Faster access to her empowered finishers is what makes this the first node worth chasing beyond S0.
S3 – the best stopping point for low spenders
S3 raises the DMG Multiplier of Resonance Liberation – Pillars Across Heaven by 70%, with an additional bonus for each mode. In Unison, Pillars Across Heaven gains 20% Crit. DMG, then an extra 15% for each Unison Boon stack, up to four stacks.
In Electro Flare, when the last stage of Pillars Across Heaven hits a target already inflicted with Electro Flare, it triggers an extra instance of Electro Flare damage at 1500% times the target’s current Electro Flare multiplier. Electro Flare Hsin benefits especially well here, which is why this is the recommended endpoint before the expensive nodes.
S4 – teamwide damage bonus
All Resonators in the team gain a 20% All-Attribute DMG Bonus for 30s whenever a teammate inflicts Electro Flare or Electro Rage, gains Unison while not already having it, or triggers Unison Response. It’s a nice support layer, but not a priority pull on its own.
S5 – survivability node
While in Illumining Form, damage taken by Hsin drops by 20%. When she takes a fatal blow, she survives instead of being knocked out, restoring 100% of Max HP and becoming immune to damage and interruption for 1s, with a 10-minute cooldown. Defensive value only, so it sits low unless you’re committing to S6.
S6 – the whale breakpoint
Hsin deals 40% more Resonance Skill DMG to targets, and her Resonance Skill bypasses 20% of their DEF. During Unison, team Resonators can hold 1 more Unison Boon stack at maximum; triggering Unison Response gives each of them one stack for 30s, and these stacks do not stack.
In Electro Flare, Electro Flare damage taken by targets near Hsin can crit, with Crit. Rate fixed at 80% and Crit. DMG fixed at 230%. It pushes both modes past their normal ceilings, but it is not necessary to make Hsin perform.

Pull priority for Hsin’s Sequences
The sensible investment order runs from base kit through the damage-focused nodes: S0R1 → S2R1 → S3R1 → S6R1. S1 buys comfort through interruption immunity and damage reduction with a small offensive bump, S2 is the first noticeable damage increase, and S3 is where most low-spenders should stop.
- Chase S6 only if you plan to fully invest, since S4 and S5 are not worth pulling on their own.
- If your account is missing Hsin’s key teammates, those characters usually matter more than early Sequences.
- Electro Flare setups gain the most from S3’s bonus detonation, so weight that node higher if you run that mode.
Because Hsin is already complete at S0, treat every Sequence as an efficiency upgrade rather than a fix. If your budget is tight, her signature weapon and the right teammates will often deliver more value than pushing past S3.
