If a code asks for level 5 and your character is below that, level up first and then come back to redeem it. The private-server-only code, SaveHZ!, will not register in a public lobby no matter how it’s typed, so you need to start or join a private server before entering it.
How to redeem codes in Hunty Zombies
Code redemption happens through a menu built into the main game screen, so there’s no separate website or item to track down.
You’ll know a code worked when your Lucky Spins, Traits, or Cash total updates immediately after confirming, with the new rewards visible in your inventory or currency display. If nothing changes, double-check the spelling and capitalization before trying again.

Where new codes come from
HZ DEV tends to release codes around feature updates, development milestones, and as an apology whenever hotfixes or unplanned downtime interrupt play. Because the game is still in active development with data resets planned, checking back after any patch is worthwhile. The developer’s official Roblox community page is also worth following for announcements between updates, and the same applies to the studio’s Discord server, where code drops are often posted first.
HZ DEV’s Roblox community group lists membership updates and links tied to the game.
Note: because data resets are planned during development, don’t be surprised if your progress, including redeemed code rewards, gets wiped at some point. Redeeming a fresh code afterward still works the same way once the reset is complete.
