Infinity Nikki 2.5 Release Time and Countdown (Where All Souls Return)

Infinity Nikki 2.5 Release Time and Countdown (Where All Souls Return)

Infinity Nikki's 2.5 update, titled Where All Souls Return, goes live on every server at the same moment: April 23, 2026 at 8:00 PM PDT (UTC-7). That means a late-evening rollout in North America and an early-morning arrival on April 24 for players in Europe and Asia.

Quick answer: Version 2.5 unlocks at April 23, 2026, 8:00 PM PDT (03:00 UTC on April 24). Maintenance begins the same day at 12:50 PM PDT and lasts roughly 7 hours and 10 minutes.

Release time: April 23, 2026 at 8:00 PM PDT (April 24, 03:00 UTC)

Global release times by region

Because the rollout is simultaneous, your local unlock time is just a conversion from 8:00 PM PDT on April 23. Players east of UTC will cross into April 24 before the servers come back online.

Maintenance window and server downtime

Servers go dark at 12:50 PM PDT on April 23 so Infold Games can push the version update. The game becomes inaccessible across PC, PlayStation, iOS, and Android during that period, and the client will require a mandatory update before you can log back in.

Pre-download is already live

Pre-download opened on April 22, 2026 at 3:00 AM PDT and stays available until 12:49 PM PDT on April 23. Grabbing the package early shortens the wait after maintenance ends, since the client needs the new files before it will let you back into Miraland.

Mobile: Tap the Pre-download Resource Pack icon on the login screen, or go to Settings > Other in-game. Note that gameplay is blocked on mobile while the pack downloads.

PC: Open the launcher and click the Pre-Download icon on the Start Game button. You can keep playing the current version while it downloads in the background.

PS5: The update queues through the standard system update flow once it's published.

What unlocks when servers return

Version 2.5 is headlined by Boneyard, a new region inside Itzaland built around dragon remains, mist-shrouded caverns, and the lore of the God of Reincarnation. The main quest Where All Souls Return becomes permanently available once you've cleared Itzaland Chapter V: Light on Old Soil, A New Chapter Begins.

Two Resonance banners open alongside the patch and run until May 28, 12:49 PM PDT:

Banner 5-star outfit 4-star outfit Ability
Eternal Cycle, Buried Past Floral Rebirth Evergreen Vow Bloomlight Shadowcatcher (bug-catching)
Evertide of No Return Guide of No Return Heartward Hues Guiding Star (archery)

The archery ability is the headline mechanic. Equipping the Soul Guidance bow from Guide of No Return lets Nikki enter Soul Vigil mode for aerial combat, charge a Return Sigil, and finish enemies with the Echo of Return barrage.

PS5 Pro enhancements

The update adds PSSR support on PlayStation 5 Pro, along with upgraded lighting, improved long-distance rendering, and steadier frame pacing. If you're playing on the Pro, expect the visual bump to land automatically once the client updates.

How to confirm the update succeeded

After the servers come back up, the launcher or system store will apply a mandatory client patch. Once you log in, you should see the new Where All Souls Return quest marker in Itzaland, the two new Resonance banners on the wish screen, and the Boneyard region on your map (entry requires progressing the Itzaland main storyline to Chapter 6 or 7, depending on the event).

If the game refuses to load, the client is still on the old version, or the banners don't appear, the mandatory update hasn't finished installing. Close the app completely, reopen the launcher or store page, and let the patch finish before trying again.
