The archery ability is the headline mechanic. Equipping the Soul Guidance bow from Guide of No Return lets Nikki enter Soul Vigil mode for aerial combat, charge a Return Sigil, and finish enemies with the Echo of Return barrage.

How to confirm the update succeeded
After the servers come back up, the launcher or system store will apply a mandatory client patch.
