Races in Iron Soul: Dungeon give your character permanent stat buffs that stack on top of your build. Each Race sits in a rarity band, and rarer Races carry stronger combined bonuses while being far less likely to land when you roll.
Quick answer: Open the Races menu using the “Races” icon at the top-middle of your screen, then press Reroll under your character. Each press spends one Race Reroll. Rolling the same Race again upgrades it with a ★, up to a maximum of 3★.
How Races work and upgrade
A Race is obtained only through Race Rerolls, never as a drop or quest reward. When you roll a Race you already own, the duplicate folds into the one you have and pushes it to a stronger variant. That upgrade shows as a ★ next to the Race name.
The cap on this upgrade path is 3★. Reaching 3★ gives a Race its highest listed stat values, so the goal with any Race you want to keep is repeated rolls of that same one.

How to reroll Races in Iron Soul: Dungeon

You can confirm an upgrade worked when a ★ appears next to the Race and its listed stats increase. If nothing changes after a roll, you most likely landed on a different Race rather than a duplicate of the one you wanted.
Getting more Race Rerolls and storing Races
You build up additional Race Rerolls by redeeming codes, which feed directly into how many times you can spin the roll pool.
Unlocked Races go into the Race Slots found to the left of your character. You start with a limited number of slots and open more by leveling up your character or buying them with Robux. More slots let you hold several Races at once instead of overwriting your progress as you chase rarer pulls.
