5x Admin Event
The 5x Admin Event is the biggest item on the schedule by a wide margin — more than 50,000 players have marked interest, more than triple the turnout of the content updates running alongside it. It started August 22 at 11 a.m. ET and runs through August 28, with about a few days left. Through the window the developers hand out exclusive soccer players, raise the odds on mutations, and lean into the loose admin-abuse trolling these events are known for.
These 5x windows have settled into a weekly rhythm. Earlier ones ran August 8–15 and August 15–21, this one covers August 22–28, and the next is already scheduled for August 29 — so there is rarely a long gap between multiplier weekends.
Japan Update
The Japan Update went live August 21 and wraps up August 26 at 3 p.m. ET. It is the game’s latest big content patch, adding a new zone and map, six new soccer players, two new gears, fresh gamepasses, and reworked rebirth and cash-per-second leaderboards. Close to 14,000 players marked interest ahead of it. The penalty minigame it teased arrived a day later as a separate Penalties Update rather than inside this patch.
