The five showcased cursed techniques, their move inputs, code rewards, and what the Mei Mei Raid actually requires.

Kaizen is a Roblox action game built around Jujutsu Kaisen, and its recent run of updates has stacked on a lot at once — five playable cursed techniques with full movesets, several domain expansions, a new raid, timed village quests, and a stack of redeemable codes tied to each patch. If you are jumping in cold, the fastest way to make sense of it is to look at what each technique actually does and what the game gates behind level requirements.

Quick answer: Cursed techniques in Kaizen are mapped to the Z, X, C, V and R keys, with R usually reserved for the domain expansion. The Mei Mei Raid unlocks at level 45, and its Nightmare difficulty is tuned for level 250 and above.

Kaizen cursed technique movesets (Z, X, C, V, R)

Every technique follows the same input layout, so once you learn one, the muscle memory carries over. The last slot is where the difference shows up — most techniques put a domain expansion on R, while Black Bird Manipulation ends on a transformation instead.

Cursed techniqueMoveset (Z → R)
Toji’s Heavenly RestrictionDash Fury (Z), Rock Flurry (X), Chained Severance (C), Split Soul Annihilation (V), Curse Ambush (R)
Projection SorceryFrame Grasp (Z), Frame Breaker (X), Heaven Splitter (C), Speed Rend (V), Time Cell Moon Palace (R)
Cursed Spirit ManipulationAbyssal Squid Barrage (Z), Warm (X), Cursed Spirit: Rainbow Dragon (C), Maximum Uzumaki (V), Night Parade Of One Hundred Demons (R)
Disaster TidesRiptide Drag (Z), Disaster Current (X), Domain Current (C), Calamity Tide (V), Horizon of the Captivating Skandhas (R)
Black Bird ManipulationCarrion Drive (Z), Bird Strike (X), Feather Coffin (C), Bird Transformation (V)

Techniques you own permanently sit in your inventory with an Equip button next to each one, so swapping between Cursed Spirit Manipulation, Projection Sorcery and Disaster Tides between fights takes seconds.

Domain expansions and what they change in a fight

Domain expansions are the payoff for each technique and they reshape the arena around you. Disaster Tides opens Horizon of the Captivating Skandhas, which is what you want against the Lantern Fish boss on the beach. Cursed Spirit Manipulation goes bigger with Kenjaku’s Womb Profusion, a tower of fused bodies that dominates the screen.

Projection Sorcery’s Time Cell Moon Palace is the practical one. Beyond the giant clock face, it grants a noticeable speed boost while you are inside it, which is what makes it so effective against tougher single targets like the Elder Zenin Sorcerer miniboss. Naoya uses the same domain, so you will see that clock face on both sides of a fight.

Kaizen codes and spin rewards

Codes in Kaizen pay out in two currencies of rerolls — Lucky Clan Spins and Binding Vows Spins. Each major update has shipped with its own code, and the amounts vary by patch.

Mei Mei Raid: level requirements and rewards

The Mei Mei Raid opens at level 45, which makes it accessible fairly early, but the difficulty tiers are where the real gate sits. Nightmare is built for characters at level 250 or higher, and the fight runs in three parts: waves of curses, then the miniboss Ui Ui, then Mei Mei herself.

Clearing Mei Mei on Nightmare pays out around 2,700,000 XP along with rare drops such as the Cursed Claw. A domain expansion active during the boss phase shortens the fight considerably — Time Cell Moon Palace in particular can end it in seconds thanks to the speed advantage.

The cursed egg quest from Aoi is one attempt only

Talk to the NPC Aoi in the village and she asks for help with a nest of cursed eggs. The task is to destroy 8 eggs before the timer expires, tracked on screen as EGGS DESTROYED 0/8.

The Mission Board indicator stays visible on screen while an objective is active.

If the timer runs out or the eggs hatch, the objective flips to HATCHED DEFEATED 0/5 and you have to clear the spawned curses instead — Kroaker Curse, Golem Curse, Zenin Swordsman, Watcher Curse and Gluton Curse. That second phase can easily overwhelm an underleveled character, and dying does not give you a second chance. The quest does not reset on respawn, so you cannot immediately retry it.

Curse Shop: crafting and permanent unlocks

The Curse Shop is where techniques become permanent rather than temporary. Toji’s Heavenly Restriction shows as permanently owned once acquired, sitting alongside entries like Cursed Energy Discharge, Disaster Flames and Judgeman. Items in the shop are crafted rather than simply bought, with a Craft button on the selected entry.

Kaizen’s structure rewards picking one technique and sticking with it long enough to reliably land the domain expansion, since that is the difference between grinding a Nightmare raid and clearing it quickly. Projection Sorcery is the most forgiving starting point for that reason — the speed boost inside Time Cell Moon Palace covers for a lot of mistakes.
