Kick a Lucky Block turned its sky into a hazard for a week. The Meteor Shower Event, which went live on August 15, 2026, adds a new currency called Meteors, two event-only vendors in the safe zone, a set of farming upgrades, and an Astral Lucky Block gacha that guarantees the game’s strongest mutation.

Quick answer: Every two hours a Solar Storm runs for 10 minutes. Kick your Lucky Block and steer it through the falling Meteors, then run back to the start line without getting hit to bank them. Spend Meteors at the two dino Brainrot vendors in the safe zone. The event window closes on August 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM PT (17:00 UTC).

Everything the Meteor Shower Event update added

The patch shipped on the developers’ usual Saturday cadence and was followed by an hour-long Admin Abuse session with Piñata and mutation events running back to back. Four things changed in the live game.

AdditionWhat it does
Meteor Shower EventA Solar Storm hits the map every two hours, dropping Meteors you collect mid-flight and carry back on foot.
Event ShopTwo safe-zone vendors that trade banked Meteors for upgrades, potions, mastery, and exclusive Brainrots.
5 new ExclusivesThree are sold in the lobby for Robux; the remaining two are Meteor Store purchases.
Astral Lucky Block gachaA store item that always rolls a Brainrot carrying the Astral mutation.

How the Solar Storm loop works

The storm is on a fixed two-hour timer and only lasts 10 minutes, so the collection itself is the bottleneck, not the shopping. Meteors are earned in flight and lost on the ground.

Wait for the Solar Storm banner, then kick your Lucky Block as normal. While the block is in the air, steer it left and right to sweep through the falling Meteors.
Run back toward the start line while carrying what you picked up. Nothing counts until you physically reach that line.
Dodge the Meteors still landing on your return path. A single hit wipes every Meteor from that run, including a full-value sweep.
Bank the haul, then spend it between runs. Meteors are added to your balance the moment you cross the line, and the vendors stay open after the 10-minute window ends.

Note: Meteors follow a repeating lane after the first few kicks. Learning that path is the difference between a partial pickup and a clean sweep, since you only get a handful of flights per storm.

Where to find the Meteor vendors

Both shops sit inside the safe zone, in the middle of the area. They are two dino Brainrots standing separately, one handling Meteor Upgrades and the other running the Meteor Store. Walk up and press E to open either menu.

Meteor upgrade costs

Upgrades are the cheapest purchases in the event and they compound for the rest of the week, so buying these before potions is the higher-return play. Each one has multiple levels, and every level pushes the effect further.

Meteor Store items and prices

The Meteor Store carries timed potions, a Kick Mastery boost, a kick style, and the two event Brainrots. All potions run for 10 minutes, which lines up neatly with a Solar Storm window if you drink one right as the storm starts.

Astral Lucky Block bundles and Robux prices

The Astral Lucky Block is sold from the regular Store and is currently the only block that guarantees a Brainrot with the Astral mutation. Astral is the strongest mutation in the game at a 50x income increase, and rolling it naturally is a 1 in 20,000 chance, which is what the guaranteed version is priced against.

You can buy as many bundles as you want in one session. Purchased blocks land in your hotbar or inventory, and that is your confirmation the transaction went through. Kick one and the resulting Brainrot will carry the Astral tag with no roll involved.

The Meteor currency, its two vendors, and the upgrade tree are tied to this event window, so anything you have not bought by the August 22 cutoff at 10:00 AM PT goes away with it. Brainrots and kick styles you already unlocked stay in your account. You can jump in through the Kick a Lucky Block experience page on Roblox to catch the remaining storms.
