The Kuku Marni Laser Helm turns a defensive slot into an offensive tool, firing a locked-on energy beam with three charges and multi-target lockon once you forge the upgraded version. Crafting it requires two separate blueprints, a base Marni Laser Helm pickup, and a stack of cores and components pulled from sanctums, caves, and Delesyia’s mech patrols.

Quick answer: Pick up the base Marni Laser Helm in southern Delesyia, restore the Sanctum of Benediction for the Kuku Marni Laser Helm blueprint and the Sanctum of Absolution for the Enhanced Kuku Pot blueprint, then craft both items at Grimnir’s Kuku Shop using 1 Enhanced Kuku Pot, 1 Marni Laser Helm, 1 Power Core – Gate of Collapse, 3 Electrical Components, and 1 Core of Transgression.

You also need a base Kuku Pot. If you do not have one, craft it from 5 Iron Ore and 5 Timber at Grimnir’s Kuku Shop in Hernand. The pot itself unlocks through the witch questline and a faction quest tied to Marek in Blackstar (Delesyia).
Pick up the base Marni Laser Helm
The base helm sits inside a ruined castle in the southern reaches of Delesyia, south of Mount Beave. Wyverns patrol overhead but ignore you. The ground-level mechs and flying mosquitoes will aggro, so plan a stamina-conscious sprint.
Inside the main gate, loop left along the primary pathway and keep moving. Stop briefly to recover stamina between enemy clusters so you do not get pinned.
After passing through an inner gate, turn left and look for a circular archway with a large enemy inside. The helm sits on the floor in a pile of gears behind it. Kill or shake aggro from any nearby mechs and mosquitoes (one bow shot kills the mosquitoes), then interact to pick up “Marni Laser Helm”.

Restore the Sanctum of Benediction for the helm blueprint
The Kuku Marni Laser Helm blueprint comes from the Sanctum of Benediction, located in the western snowy mountains of Hernand. The closest fast travel is the Abyss Nexus at Starlight Storm Cave.
Collect the first Fusion Reactor Core from the southwestern entrance inside the sanctum. Light the stone lantern to the right of the tower entrance to unlock the door, then grab the second core inside.
Install the round-top core on the broken pillar using Aerial Force Palm, then insert the cube-shaped core into the central machine with a regular Force Palm. The structure activates, and “Blueprint II: Kuku Marni Laser Helm” is added to your knowledge.

Restore the Sanctum of Absolution for the Enhanced Kuku Pot blueprint
The upgraded helm requires the Enhanced Kuku Pot, which needs its own blueprint from the Sanctum of Absolution near the Mountain of Frozen Souls in Hernand.
Complete the cleansing interaction. The “Sanctum of Absolution” quest closes, and “Blueprint I: Enhanced Kuku Pot” is awarded.

Get the Core of Transgression from Lyselia’s sanctum
The Core of Transgression drops from a sanctum tied to Lyselia, the Witch of Humility. You must unlock her first, or her cave and sanctum interactions stay locked.
Travel north of Hernand to the broken bridge where a person hangs over the edge. Help them up. The cutscene reveals Lyselia in disguise, and her cave in the Serpent Marsh (south of Demeniss) becomes accessible.

Head to the Sanctum of Oblation on an island off the eastern coast of Delesyia. Clear the enemies and speak with Lyselia to register the sanctum as restored.
Solve the kiln light puzzle on the central structure. Use Blinding Light (both bumpers, then tap L1) to ignite each notch as it aligns with the glowing crystal. A mistimed input resets the notches to orange, and you start over.

When the puzzle completes, a black cube drops from the sky. Shoot it with an arrow, then collect the dropped item to obtain the Core of Transgression.
Farm the Power Core – Gate of Collapse
This power core drops from stone worms inside Anvil Hill Cave in the Demeniss region. The drop is not guaranteed, so a manual save before the fight saves time.
Defeat the stone worms inside. One worm typically drops a Power Core – Spire of Defiance, and another drops the Power Core – Gate of Collapse. Shoot the floating orb each worm leaves behind to release the core, then collect it.
Head to the Eastern Hills area in Delesyia (or the roads through the surrounding islands) and locate medium combat mechatanks. After the kill, the mech shakes and explodes, leaving a component on the ground. Pick it up and seal it in your Kuku Pot. Repeat until you have three.
Travel to Drakefall Gorge in Hernand and approach the ruined Drakesfall Castle. Destroy the metallic, crystalline debris pile and pick up the Abyss Cell.

Craft the Enhanced Kuku Pot, then the helm
Both crafts happen at Grimnir’s Kuku Shop in Hernand. Speak with Grimnir to open the Kuku Item Crafting and Enhancement menu.
Select the Enhanced Kuku Pot node. The recipe needs 1 Kuku Pot and 1 Abyss Cell. Craft it. The notification “Enhanced Kuku Pot acquired” confirms the upgrade.
Confirm the craft. The notification “Kuku Marni Laser Helm acquired” closes the loop. The helm now sits in your equipment, ready to refine at any blacksmith.

Lock onto a target before pressing the activation input. Without a lock, the beam does not fire. The Kuku version’s three charges and multi-target lockon make it viable for clearing groups, while the base version is a single-shot opener that cannot be refined past its baseline defense.
Common reasons the craft does not trigger
You crafted the standard Kuku Pot but skipped the Enhanced Kuku Pot. The helm recipe will not accept the base pot.
You picked up a Power Core – Spire of Defiance instead of Gate of Collapse. Only Gate of Collapse satisfies the recipe.
Lyselia’s sanctum puzzle was abandoned mid-sequence. The kiln resets to orange notches, and the Core of Transgression will not eject until every notch is lit cleanly.
The base Marni Laser Helm is still sitting in the Delesyia castle. The crafting menu requires it as a consumed input.
Once everything is in the menu, the recipe will not gate behind any further quest progress. Reinforce the helm at any blacksmith afterward to push its defense and laser scaling toward endgame values.
