The next content drop for Legend of YMIR rewrites two things at once. It adds a new server battle called Conqueror Showdown, and it finally puts Legendary-grade Valkyrie armor into the crafting system instead of leaving it locked behind drops alone. Maintenance runs across September 7 and 8, 2026, with the exact window depending on which region your server sits in.
Quick answer: After maintenance completes, you can craft Legendary Valkyrie armor using gWEMIX Pieces or Azure Amber, and Legendary crafting materials start dropping from Nightmare Expedition, Nightmare Raid, and Field Boss rewards.
Update maintenance windows by region
Servers go down at different local times, so the calendar date differs depending on where you play. Times below are given in each region’s own offset.
| Region | Window |
|---|---|
| ASIA / STEAM (UTC+8) | September 8, 2026, 7:00 am – 10:50 am |
| NAEU / SA (UTC-4) | September 7, 2026, 7:00 pm – 10:50 pm |
| STEAM (UTC-3) | September 8, 2026, 8:00 pm – 11:50 pm |
Note: the Bootcamp seasonal servers wrap up with this update. Free graduation transfers out of Bootcamp close on September 7, 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+8), and any character still sitting on a Bootcamp server after that gets assigned to a random server in the same region.

Add to Google Preferences →Conqueror Showdown: rules of the new server battle
Conqueror Showdown is short and deliberately chaotic. The match lasts ten minutes, there is no life limit, and everyone converges on a crown placed at the center of the map. Because deaths do not eliminate you, the pressure sits entirely on holding the middle rather than playing safe on the edges.
That format favors clans that can rotate bodies into the center repeatedly instead of one player trying to survive the full timer. Expect the fight to reset several times inside a single match.

How to craft Legendary Valkyrie armor
Legendary armor for Valkyries moves into the crafting system with this patch. Two currencies unlock it, and you pick one path rather than combining both.
Nightmare difficulty and entry tickets
Nightmare difficulty applies to the Hogni and Jarnhamash encounters, listed in game as Ruler of Utangard Hogni and Shadow Bandits Captain Jarnhamash. Entry is ticketed, and the tickets are crafted rather than bought outright. The Darkening Nightmare Feather and Terrible Nightmare Feather are the items tied to that entry flow, so keep an eye on your stock before committing to a run.
Feather-type materials also circulate on the Trade Station, which is worth checking before you spend a full crafting cycle producing your own.

Collection substitutes and the Clan Skill level 15 cap
Two systems get quieter but meaningful changes. The collection system now accepts designated substitute items, so a slot you were stuck on can be filled with an approved alternative instead of hunting the one exact drop.
Major Clan Skills also gain headroom. The maximum level rises to 15, which gives established clans somewhere to spend contribution again once their skills were already sitting at the old ceiling.
Events running alongside the update
A full event slate starts with the patch on September 8, 2026. Most of them are login or mission driven, so they cost time rather than materials.
| Event | What it does |
|---|---|
| Skadi’s Hunting Support 14-Day Check-In | Daily login rewards across 14 days, including character buffs |
| Daily Mission Reward Enhancement Event | Grants the Heidrun’s Gift Package for daily missions |
| Sigrun’s Legendary Support Task I | Mission completion rewards aimed at Legendary progression |
| Clan Support Special Task | Clan-focused missions with clan rewards |
| Fafnir’s Secret Reliquary | Draw event using Diamonds, Keys, or Silver |
| Fafnir’s Hidden Treasure Chest | Second draw event with its own item pool |
| Firmament of Nott | Item collection and crafting event granting stat buffs |
Heidrun’s Gift Package and mead buffs
Completing daily missions during the event period hands over the Heidrun’s Gift Package. Its contents and the usage window are both listed on the event page, and the package expires with the event, so opening it late is a wasted reward.

Inside the package is Heidrun’s Golden Mead, and the buff it gives scales by character level bracket rather than being a single flat value. The top bracket covers Level 71 and above, so higher-level characters pull a different reward line from the same package.

Fafnir draw events and Firmament of Nott
Fafnir’s Secret Reliquary and Fafnir’s Hidden Treasure Chest both run as draw events, accepting Diamonds, Keys, or Silver depending on which one you enter. Each publishes a reward list with per-item limits and probabilities, which is the part worth reading before you commit currency.

Firmament of Nott is the collection-style event. You gather event items and register them into the Pledge of Starlight collections, numbered I through V, with each completed tier granting stat buffs.
How to confirm the update applied
Once your region’s maintenance window closes and the client finishes patching, three checks confirm you are on the new build. Nightmare appears as a selectable difficulty for Hogni and Jarnhamash in the Expedition menu, Major Clan Skills show a ceiling of 15 instead of the previous cap, and the event list populates with the September entries described above.
If the Legendary crafting recipes do not appear, the usual cause is a client that reconnected before the patch finished downloading. A full restart from the lobby resolves it.
Practically, the update pushes progression toward one loop. You run Nightmare content and Field Bosses for Legendary materials, spend gWEMIX Pieces or Azure Amber to convert them into Valkyrie armor, then take that gear into a ten-minute crown fight where dying repeatedly costs you nothing but tempo.
