Lightning Fruit V1 in Sailor Piece: How to Roll It and What It Does

Roll the Coin or Junk Fruit Dealer on Sailor Island, watch for the yellow Legendary tag, and skip the boss grind entirely.

Roll the Coin or Junk Fruit Dealer on Sailor Island, watch for the yellow Legendary tag, and skip the boss grind entirely.

Lightning Fruit V1 is the beginner-friendly version of the Lightning Fruit in Sailor Piece, and it skips the whole boss-farming ordeal. There is no Second Sea requirement, no rare drop, and no timer to wait out. You get it by rolling in Sea 1, spending coins, and hoping the yellow name tag lands in your favor.

Quick answer: Teleport to Sailor Island in Sea 1, stand in the ring at the Coin Fruit Dealer or Junk Fruit Dealer, and press E to spin repeatedly until a fruit rolls with a yellow Legendary tag reading “Lightning Fruit.” Eat it to activate Lightning V1.

How to roll Lightning Fruit V1 on Sailor Island

The entire process runs on random chance. Your account level, playtime, and progression do not change your odds, so a brand-new player has the same shot as a veteran. The only variables are how many coins you hold and how long your luck holds out.

Open your map, pick Sailor Island, and select the Coins Fruit Dealer teleport option. This drops you straight in front of the fruit dealer NPCs and saves you the walk.

Stand inside the yellow circle at the Coin Fruit Dealer. A prompt appears showing the spin cost, priced at 15,000 coins per roll.
Press E to spin. Each roll drops a random fruit such as Flame, Bomb, Quake, or Invisible, and the result flashes as a notification at the top of the screen.
Keep rolling and watch the name color. Lightning Fruit is Legendary rarity, so it appears with a yellow tag when it finally lands. Eat it to lock in Lightning V1.

Note: If your coins run dry, stop and farm before you start again. Draining your whole economy on one fruit with no backup plan can stall the rest of your progression. Set a coin limit before you spin, spend only part of your stack, then rebuild.

Rarity and roll details

Lightning V1 sits in the Legendary tier, the same bracket as the Light Fruit, and it always shows the yellow rarity color. Its main strength is access, since anyone with coins can chase it without touching a boss.

Lightning Fruit V1 moveset

The visuals are the highlight here. Basic attacks call down blue lightning strikes, and the bigger moves rain down pillars or spin up a vortex. Damage is average for a Legendary, so treat it as flashy filler rather than an endgame nuke. Audio feedback is inconsistent on some moves, so judge hits by the visuals and timing instead of the sound.

InputMoveWhat it does
M1Basic comboStandard lightning hits for filler damage
ZSkill 1Lightning strike that works well as an opener
XSkill 2Concentrated burst that chains into combos
CSkill 3Forward dash attack that can overshoot small enemies
VSkill 4Cinematic area attack with raining lightning pillars
FUtilityMovement and travel with a large lightning vortex effect

Reliable combo rotation

A simple, consistent rotation is Z into X, then an M1 combo, followed by V, and only C when the target is lined up straight ahead. Avoid spamming C blindly. It pushes you forward and can throw off your position near bosses or packed enemy groups.

Is Lightning V1 worth rolling for?

For new or low-to-mid level players, yes. It hands you a Legendary fruit without forcing you into boss farming, which usually punishes weaker accounts. If you already own stronger damage fruits, its value drops off fast, since the damage is balanced around how easy it is to obtain.

Preparing for Lightning V2 after you get V1

Lightning V1 is the entry ticket, not the finish line. The upgraded V2 form lives in Sea 2 and demands a real grind. The NPC that unlocks it stands on the Flying Ship, near the propeller at the back of the vessel, and it requires you to have the base Lightning fruit equipped along with the Thunder God title and a set of farmed materials.

You collect those materials by repeatedly defeating the Lightning Boss on the Flying Ship. That boss carries roughly a 10-minute respawn timer, so you can clear other Sea 2 bosses while you wait. Drop rates scale with your Luck stat, which is why many players run a damage build during the fight and swap to a Luck build right before the boss dies.

Do not start the V2 grind while your damage is still weak. Killing the boss too slowly wastes time on respawn cycles and deaths. The cleaner route is to roll Lightning V1 first, level your account, push your damage higher, unlock Sea 2, and only then begin farming V2 materials.

You will know Lightning V1 is yours the moment the yellow “Lightning Fruit” notification appears and you eat it, swapping your active fruit to the lightning moveset with Z, X, C, V, and F skills ready to use. If the fruit never shows up, it simply hasn’t rolled yet. There is no unlock condition to meet beyond spending coins and letting the RNG land.
