Lineage Piece: How to Get Every Haki Type

Two Haki types are currently active in Lineage Piece, and each one changes how a fight plays out. Observation (Ken) Haki grants 10 dodges that fully cancel incoming attacks, while Armament (Buso) Haki raises your damage by 25% when it is active. Neither is handed to you at spawn. One depends on a rare drop, and the other runs through a short questline with a boss grind and a torch puzzle.

Quick answer: For Armament (Buso) Haki, farm a Haki Book (0.1% drop from any mob or boss), then hand it plus 1,250 Gems to the Buso Haki NPC on Frostborn Island. For Observation Haki, reach Level 1,500, defeat 40 World Bosses, light all five torches to earn the Observation Haki Book, then give it plus 2.5 million Yen to the Observation Haki NPC in Deeproot Jungle.

Armament (Buso) Haki: the faster unlock

Buso Haki has no questline. The only thing standing between you and the +25% damage buff is a single Haki Book, which is the hard part. Every mob and boss in the game has a 0.1% chance to drop it, so plan on clearing a lot of enemies before one appears. If the grind stalls, trading with another player is a valid way to get one.

Farm the Haki Book by killing mobs or bosses. A dense enemy route with fast respawns and area damage will get you the most kills per hour, which is what matters at a 0.1% rate.

Travel to Frostborn Island and find the Buso Haki NPC standing on top of one of the wooden towers past the main town buildings.

Open the purchase window and confirm the trade. You need one Haki Book and 1,250 Gems. Gems come from bosses, chests, and active codes if you are short.

Once the purchase goes through, Armament Haki is yours and can be toggled in combat. The aura rolls a random color on unlock, which is purely cosmetic. You can change it later with a Haki Color Reroll, an item that drops from Rare chests and higher and has a 4% chance from mobs and bosses.

Observation (Ken) Haki: requirements and questline

Observation Haki is the longer path. Before you can learn it, you need to be at least Level 1,500, hold 2.5 million Yen, and finish the questline that produces the Observation Haki Book. The questline itself splits into a World Boss grind and a five-torch puzzle.

Head to Deeproot Jungle Island and speak with the Observation Haki NPC. You will find it near the wooden bridge in the central part of the island. Talking to it opens the first objective.

Defeat 40 World Bosses. Any World Boss counts, and you can grind the same one over and over. Verdant Hero is the easiest target since it is the weakest on the list. Summon it at Legend’s Arena through the Boss Summon NPC for 1 Summon Core and 250 Gems.

Return to the Observation Haki NPC to pick up the torch puzzle, then light all five torches spread across the map. Activating the fifth one automatically grants the Observation Haki Book.

Bring the Observation Haki Book and 2.5 million Yen back to the NPC in Deeproot Jungle to learn the ability. The book cannot be traded and exists only to complete this unlock.

Scorched Ruins Island	From spawn, move left and continue to the leftmost tree to find the final torch.

You will know the unlock worked when the NPC completes the exchange and Observation Haki becomes usable right away. If the talk prompt never appears, the most common cause is being under Level 1,500, since the interaction is gated by that requirement.

Conqueror’s Haki is not in the game

Only Observation and Armament are obtainable right now. Conqueror’s Haki has not been added, so there is no method to unlock it at this time. If it arrives in a future update, its requirements will be tied to whatever new questline is introduced with it. For now, the two Haki types above are the complete set, and pairing the Buso damage boost with Observation’s dodges gives you both offense and survival in one build.
