Yuta Okkotsu arrived in Lineage Piece as a Mythical physical weapon alongside the Naruto and Elysia content, and he is not a simple NPC purchase. The weapon sits behind a five-part questline from Inumaki, a summonable Extreme-difficulty boss, and a mastery track that ends with a raid against Geto. Everything happens on Shinjuku Showdown and Jujutsu Highschool, so you can run the whole path without bouncing between low-level islands.
Quick answer: Finish Inumaki’s five quests for the Jujutsu ID Card, farm the Yuta boss with Cursed Seals for the remaining materials, then pay 37,500,000 Coins and 40,000 Gems at the Yuta NPC.
Yuta unlock requirements and cost
The Yuta NPC stands on Shinjuku Showdown island. Talk to him first so the requirement list is visible in your interface while you farm, since several of these items only drop from the Yuta boss.

The currency line is the part most players underestimate. 37.5 million Coins is endgame money in Lineage Piece, so it is worth banking currency while you work through the questline rather than treating it as an afterthought.
How to get the Jujutsu ID Card from Inumaki
The Jujutsu ID Card comes from Inumaki, who also sits on Shinjuku island. His questline is five stages long and every objective must be completed with Katana or Combat, so equip one of those before you start swinging or your progress bar will not move.
Shrines also drop Cursed Seals, the summoning item for the Yuta boss. Keep breaking them past the fifteenth so you have a stock of seals ready the moment Inumaki hands over the card.
Once the fifth stage is complete, Inumaki gives you the Jujutsu ID Card and the item lands directly in your inventory. That is your confirmation the questline is finished.
Farming the Yuta boss for the remaining materials
The Cursed Katana, Rings of Pure Love, Essences of Pure Love, Cursed Spirit Fragments and Cursed Shards all come from the Yuta boss itself. He does not stand in the world waiting for you. Use a Cursed Seal at the Shinjuku Summoner NPC to bring him out, and be ready for a serious fight, since he spawns as Yuta [Lv.???] (Extreme).
Drops are not guaranteed per run, so expect repeated summons. Because the Essence of Pure Love requirement sits at 16 and Cursed Shards at 30, the boss loop is the longest single stretch of the base unlock. Once every item is stacked and you have the currency, buy Yuta from his NPC and the weapon appears in your inventory ready to equip.
Yuta mastery questline requirements
Base Yuta gives you the Z, X, C and V moves. The mastery version adds the F and R abilities, and it is gated behind a separate NPC labelled Yuta (Mastery). The objectives split into a damage and kill track, a Cursed Technique collection track, and two raid-only items.
Quest objectives

- Defeat Yuta on Hard or Extreme 20 times
- Equip the [The Cursed Child] title
The 20 Yuta kills stack naturally with the damage counter, so run both at once rather than treating them as separate grinds.
Cursed Technique collection
You also need six copies of each Cursed Technique, and each one drops from its matching boss. This is the widest part of the mastery path because it sends you across several different encounters.

These are not optional flavour items. The techniques you collect feed directly into what Yuta’s mastery F move can cast later, so all 30 need to be banked before the mastery shop lets you finalise the purchase.
Geto’s Cursed Remnant and Vow of Pure Love from the Elysian Trial
Two mastery items cannot be farmed from open-world bosses. Geto’s Cursed Remnant and the Vow of Pure Love only come from beating Geto inside the raid, and you enter it through the Maki NPC.
The raid is tied to the Elysian Trial, so treat it as the last step of the mastery path rather than something to attempt before your Cursed Technique stock is complete.
What the mastery moves do
Mastery changes how Yuta plays rather than just adding damage numbers. The F move fires one of the Cursed Techniques you collected, picked at random, which means the ability behaves differently each time it comes off cooldown. The R move summons Rika for a heavy area-of-effect hit and is the closest thing Yuta has to a finisher.
Modifiers stack on top of that. The Phantom modifier adds +25% Weapon Damage along with +15% hitbox size and +7.5% crit chance, which is why dummy tests with Phantom equipped look far stronger than a bare mastery run.
Race choice for Yuta
Yuta is classed as a weapon, so sword-side races apply rather than melee ones. Pink Elf, added in the same update, is currently the strongest of those with +27.5% weapon damage, -5% cooldown and +8.5 crit rate. Frost Kitsune is the main alternative at +25% weapon damage with crit chance and crit damage bonuses.
Neither race is required to buy or use Yuta. They only affect how hard he hits, so plan a reroll around the weapon damage bonus once the unlock is done rather than before it.
The whole route is long but linear. Lock down the Inumaki card first, use the leftover shrines to build a Cursed Seal stockpile, then grind the boss and the Cursed Techniques in parallel before ending on the Geto raid. Done in that order, nothing in the chain ends up blocking anything else.
