The fourth daily clue in Marvel Rivals‘ Jeff’s Superstar Search sends you back to Times Square, and it is one of the simplest stars in the event so far. No flying, no climbing, no awkward rooftop scramble — just a short run down the main street and one interact prompt.
Quick answer: For Day 4, find the star on the pedestal beneath the bronze Captain America statue in the Times Square hub, then press the interact key beside it.
Day 4 clue and what it means
Today’s Scene Star Search clue says: “A small shark stands beside a bronze justice hero, preparing to guard the spotlight as a courageous Superstar.” That bronze figure is the Captain America statue at the center of the Times Square social hub. In the event panel, choose “TO TIMES SQUARE”; “Hellfire Bay Beach” is not the correct destination for this clue.
You can only earn one star per day, and the Scene Star Search and Match Star Hunting objectives do not stack. Completing one closes out the day.

Confirming the star was counted
Once the interaction goes through, open the in-hub menu, select “LEAVE” and confirm to return to the main lobby. Nothing else needs to be done inside the social map.

Back in the lobby, head to the Events tab and reopen Jeff’s Superstar Search. The day’s star appears filled in on the star tally, and any milestone you have reached becomes claimable. That badge is the only confirmation you need.

Daywalker Dreams spray and the other reward tiers
Four stars is the first milestone, which means the Day 4 pickup unlocks a reward for anyone who has not missed a day. Claim it from the same event panel — the game throws up a “CONGRATULATIONS!” screen with an EQUIP button once you take it.
| Stars | Reward | Type |
|---|---|---|
| 4 | Daywalker Dreams | Spray |
| 7 | Superstar Seeker | Title |
| 10 | Dreamscape | Animated nameplate |
The Daywalker Dreams spray shows a chibi Blade asleep in a star-shaped sleeping bag. The full set needs 10 stars, and the event runs long enough that missing a few days is not fatal.
Star locations from the previous days
Each day’s star is removed when the mission rotates at 09:00 UTC, so an older spot will not hold a pickup today. The earlier solutions are still worth knowing if you are tracking how the clues are written, since they always name a piece of hub scenery rather than the object itself.
| Day | Hub | Star location |
|---|---|---|
| 1 (Sept. 17) | Hellfire Bay Beach | Above the spawn building, at the midpoint of the golden thatched roof |
| 2 (Sept. 18) | Times Square | At the upper end of the broad red staircase, facing the billboards |
| 3 (Sept. 19) | Hellfire Bay Beach | Behind the Pym-ini Sandwich truck on the left side of the beach |
| 4 (Sept. 20) | Times Square | Pedestal of the bronze Captain America statue |
The Day 3 clue — “Hidden behind a vehicle gifting shifting sizes” — was the trickiest to read, because both hubs contain a Pym vehicle. That star was on the beach, tucked behind the food truck near a planter box, which meant picking “TO HELLFIRE BAY BEACH” from the mission panel first.

From the beach spawn, the truck sits down to the left along the sand, usually with a crowd of other players around it.

Match Star Hunting as the backup option
If you would rather not visit a social hub, the daily Match Star Hunting objective hands over the same star for three wins. Those wins can come from any mix of these modes:
- Quick Match
- Competitive
- Arcade
- Practice vs. AI
Grabbing the star takes a couple of minutes once you know the spot, so the match route mostly makes sense on days you were going to queue up anyway.
Jeff’s Superstar Search closes on October 9 at 09:00 UTC, with a fresh mission dropping every day at the same hour. With 22 days of clues and only 10 stars needed, there is room to skip a handful of days and still walk away with the nameplate.
