Mini War Quality Update: Start Time, Countdown, and What’s Next

Updated August 25, 2026 By AllThingsHow Staff 13K playing now

Mini War, the nation-building strategy game from M&M Community, has settled into a roughly weekly cadence of in-game events, and this page covers what is coming next and what just wrapped. As of September 14, the experience is holding around about 13,000 players in a session at once and has passed about 340,000,000 visits since it opened.

The nearest item on the calendar is the Quality Update, scheduled to run from August 29 to August 31. Unlike the recent stretch of feature drops, the developer frames this one as a maintenance-focused release built around quality-of-life changes, bug fixes, and optimization, with new buildings and new weather floated as possibilities rather than confirmed additions. Interest is building ahead of launch.

We keep this page current as Mini War’s event schedule changes. Last updated September 14.

Quality Update — August 29 to 31

The Quality Update is the next item on the calendar. It is set to open on August 29 at 2:00 PM ET (11:00 AM PT, 18:00 UTC) and stay live through August 31 at the same time. The developer’s listing points to quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and optimization, with new buildings and a new weather type mentioned only as tentative extras. That makes it a change of pace from the run of content-heavy updates that came before it, aimed more at polishing what is already in the game than expanding it. Ahead of launch, about 82,000 players have already marked themselves as interested.

The Drones Update ran from August 22 to August 24, adding new drone units, additional air units, and a fresh battlepass — a clear push toward aerial warfare on top of the game’s existing mix of tanks, planes, and helicopters. It drew about 100,000 interested players.

Before that, the Better Market event ran from August 15 to August 16, a shorter one-day window that upgraded the in-game black market with new production buildings, army buildings, and decorations — more ways to expand and customize a base. It was the biggest draw of the recent stretch, with about 140,000 players marking interest.

Taken together, the last several updates have landed almost exactly a week apart — Better Market on August 15, Drones on August 22, and Quality on August 29 — each opening at 2:00 PM ET. That weekly rhythm is the best guide to when the next drop is likely to arrive.
