Emotes in Monkey Bomb Tag are cosmetic animations you unlock from Cases and trigger during a match to show off, taunt, or celebrate a survival streak. They sit alongside Tails, Effects, and Bombs as the four cosmetic categories sold in the Case Shop, and each one drops at a fixed rate when you open a Case with Bananas.

Quick answer: Buy Cases in the Case Shop with Bananas, open them to randomly receive an Emote, then equip and play it from the Emote Menu once you are in a round.

How to get Emotes in Monkey Bomb Tag

Emotes only come from Cases, and Cases are bought with Bananas in the Case Shop. There is no direct purchase for a specific Emote. Every Case rolls randomly against the drop table, so rarer Emotes show up far less often than the common ones.

You earn Bananas just by playing. Staying online pays out over time, surviving a round gives 5 Bananas, tagging another monkey while holding the bomb gives 2, and loose Bananas on the map are worth 2 each when you run over them. You can keep grabbing ground Bananas even after you have been bombed and turned into a ghost for the round.

All Emotes and drop rates

The Emote pool follows a clear rarity curve. Dab is the easiest to land, while Zoom Zoom is the rarest of the percentage-based drops. Take the L and Griddy are listed as currently available rather than tied to a fixed percentage.

Note: Because Cases roll at random, a single open will most often hand you Dab or Victory. Expect to spend a lot more Bananas before Flex or Zoom Zoom appears.

How to use an Emote in a match

Open the Emote Menu and select the Emote you unlocked so it is equipped and ready to play.

Join a round and let the arena load. Emotes are meant to be performed in active matches, not the lobby.
Monkey Bomb Tag Emotes
Open the Emote Menu again during the round and click the Emote you want to perform. Your monkey plays the animation on the spot, which confirms it is equipped correctly.

None of these Emotes change how you move, how fast you run, or how the bomb behaves, so they are purely cosmetic and exist for the fun of it. If you are chasing a specific one like Zoom Zoom, the most reliable path is simply to keep banking Bananas through surviving rounds and tagging other monkeys, then keep opening Cases until it drops.
