Mortal Shell 2 packs a full trophy list that tracks nearly everything you do across the game. There are 53 trophies on PlayStation and 52 on Xbox and Steam, with the only difference being the PlayStation Platinum. Most of them fall into your lap as you unlock weapons, claim Shells, and beat bosses, but a handful require deliberate detours and precise play.
Quick answer: Complete the main story, unlock every Shell, Weapon, and Sidearm, gather all collectibles, defeat every boss, and clear the two skill-based hidden trophies (Peter’s Perfect Parry and Ascension). Earning every other trophy automatically awards the No Lifer Platinum on PlayStation.

Trophy count and platform differences
The list splits into non-hidden trophies tied to standard progression and hidden trophies mostly connected to boss defeats and a few unusual interactions. On PlayStation, the No Lifer Platinum sits on top and requires every other trophy first. Xbox and Steam carry the same 52 achievements without a Platinum tier.
| Platform | Total trophies | Platinum |
|---|---|---|
| PlayStation | 53 | Yes (No Lifer) |
| Xbox | 52 | No |
| Steam | 52 | No |

These unlock as you push through the main path. Reaching key locations, watching your first Shell Memory, and finishing the game all count here. This is Not an Achievement is the Gold trophy for completing Mortal Shell 2 outright.
| Trophy | Requirement |
|---|---|
| You’re More Than a Weapon | Claim your first Shell, Weapon, and Sidearm |
| Mid Summer? | Enter the Festival |
| Home at Last | Reach Marrowkeep |
| Haunting Times | Watch your first Shell Memory |
| This is Not an Achievement | Complete Mortal Shell 2 |
| No Lifer (Platinum) | Unlock all trophies |
| Bag Holder | A joke reward for mastering nothing |
Weapon unlock trophies
Each weapon you claim awards its own Bronze trophy, and collecting every one grants the Lord of War Silver trophy. Deep Cuts covers the starting Axe and Dagger, and the rest come as you explore and progress.
| Trophy | Weapon |
|---|---|
| Deep Cuts | Axe and Dagger |
| Big Boi | Great Martyr’s Blade |
| Just the Tip | Black Needle |
| Like Clockwork | Clockwork Scythe |
| Stop, Hammer Time | Obsidian Hammer |
| Dual Wielding | Axatana |
| Cut You Down to Size | Veteran’s Battle Axe |
| Spiked | Caged Hystrix |
| Chop Chop | Salvaged Trebuchaxe |
| Lord of War | Unlock all Weapons |
Sidearm unlock trophies
Sidearms follow the same pattern as weapons. Grab each one for its Bronze trophy, and the full set awards Guns, Lots of Guns.
| Trophy | Sidearm |
|---|---|
| Old Painless | Triarch Repeater |
| Beautiful Baby | Cursed Child |
| Speared | Ballistazooka |
| Old School | Forgotten Crossbow |
| Guns, Lots of Guns | Unlock all Sidearms |
Shells and character trophies
Claiming each named character rewards a Bronze trophy, and unlocking every Shell grants Shell Seeker. Two Silver trophies push deeper into the upgrade systems. Decked Out needs a Shell taken to maximum bonding at the Shellkeeper, and Over 9000 needs a single Weapon maxed at the Tarforge.
| Trophy | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Forever Alone? | Unlock Tiel |
| Down with the Thickness | Unlock Lazlo |
| Vengeance is Mine | Unlock Eredrim |
| The Alchemist | Unlock Sariel |
| Arrival | Unlock Proxima |
| My Brether | Unlock Smert |
| Heartless | Unlock Gragu |
| Sester | Unlock Sester Genessa |
| Shell Seeker | Unlock all Shells |
| Decked Out | Reach max bonding tier for a Shell at the Shellkeeper |
| Over 9000 | Max out a Weapon at the Tarforge |
Collectible and exploration trophies
Several Silver trophies reward thorough exploration. You will need to sweep the map for Ova, Tarstones, Map Fragments, and Beacons, and see every Shell Memory. Heavy Metal is the odd one out here, asking you to play all Lute Tracks in the game.
| Trophy | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Bring My Ova Back to Me | Collect all of the Ova |
| Heavy Metal | Play all Lute Tracks in the game |
| Stoned | Find all Tarstones |
| So Fresh, So Clean | Cleanse all Beacons |
| Sat Nav | Find all Map Fragments |
| Seeking the Past | Watch all Shell Memories |

Hidden boss trophies
Every major boss defeat is a hidden Bronze trophy. You will earn most of these naturally by finishing the game, since the bosses gate progression. Magdalena, the Lady of the Woods, marks the end of the earlier Open Beta and is one of the first you face.
| Trophy | Boss |
|---|---|
| Ultimate Karen | Magdalena, the Lady of the Woods |
| Meat’s Back on the Menu, Boys! | The Lost Child |
| Headcase | The Nameless Captive |
| Nightmare Fuel | Sir Isaac, the Scholar-Prince |
| Something in the Deep… | Hexapod |
| Praise Him! | The Monolith |
| It burnssssssssss | Droeg, the Conquerer |
| Giga Chad | Malborn Offspring |
| Lost Your Head | Orrem, the Reclaimed |
| It’s Over Now? | Zmey, the Unbidden |
The hardest and most unusual trophies
A small group of hidden trophies asks for specific timing or offbeat interactions rather than raw progress. Two of them stand out as the toughest part of a full clear.
Peter’s Perfect Parry requires you to Perfect Guard every one of The Nameless Captive’s headspin attacks using the Untarnished Seal. There is no room for a single dropped guard, which makes reliable timing on that Seal the key.
Ascension is tied to discovering the secret of the Mango, an obscure interaction that will not appear during normal play. The remaining oddball trophies are easier once you know the trigger.
| Trophy | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Peter’s Perfect Parry | Perfect Guard each of The Nameless Captive’s headspins with the Untarnished Seal |
| Feed Me | Cause Egon to pass away |
| No, You Still Can’t Win | Take the Tar Golem to his Minimum Health |
| Ascension | Discover the secret of the Mango |
You will know the Platinum has triggered when No Lifer pops after your final remaining trophy unlocks. If you are close but the Platinum has not appeared, the missing piece is almost always one of the skill-based hidden trophies or a single collectible you skipped, so backtrack to any uncleansed Beacon, unclaimed Weapon, or Shell Memory you passed over. Everything else clears itself through steady play toward the end of the story.
