Murder Mystery 2 is one of the stops in The Hunt: Roblox 20, Roblox’s twentieth-anniversary event, which began on September 17. Its quest is one of the least demanding in the lineup — no kill counts, no specific role, no Robux. You just need to pick up coins while you play normal rounds.

MM2 Roblox 20 quest requirements

Once you load into Murder Mystery 2, use the Roblox 20 event icon at the screen’s bottom-left to access the quest. The Roblox 20 Event Quest window then appears, instructing you to collect coins across MM2 maps, with the tracker beginning at 0/50.

Coins count no matter which role you draw, and dying partway through a round does not wipe the coins you already banked. Progress carries across matches and across maps, so a bad round costs you nothing but time.

How to collect 50 coins in MM2

Load into Murder Mystery 2 and open the Roblox 20 event icon in the lobby. Check that the counter is tracking coins so you know the quest is active before you commit to a round.

Join the next match and wait out the pre-round countdown. If a game is already in progress you will spectate until it ends, then vote for the next map during intermission.

Once the round starts, sweep the map for gold coins instead of camping. They sit along hallways, inside rooms, on staircases and out in the courtyards, so a full lap of the map is worth far more than hiding in one corner.

Keep playing until the counter reads 50. Your coin bag limits how many coins you can hold in a single round, so most players fill the quest over roughly two matches. A maxed 50-coin bag can finish it in one.

Reopen the event window between rounds to see where you stand. The counter updates live, so you can tell exactly how many coins are left before the next map loads.

Innocent is the most comfortable role for coin runs, since you are not obliged to chase anyone and can keep moving through rooms while the round plays out.

How to confirm the badge unlocked

When the fiftieth coin lands, the Roblox 20 Event Quest window changes to a completion message telling you the MM2 quest is done and to head back to the hub to claim your prize. A Badge Awarded notification appears alongside it. That pop-up is the confirmation — if you saw it, the badge is on your account.

Each badge can only be earned once per account, per game. Replaying Murder Mystery 2 after the notification adds nothing to your event total, so once you have it, move on to the other participating games.

The Hunt: Roblox 20 has no code-redemption feature, and badges are not for sale. Treat anyone offering event items, early-access links, or help with badge boosting as a scam.

Claiming the Knife Dodgers Big Head UGC

The MM2 badge on its own does not hand you the game’s cosmetic reward. The Knife Dodgers Big Head — a blue big head with knives lodged in it — sits behind the event’s chronological progression. Murder Mystery 2 represents the 2014 era of the hub, so everything dated earlier has to be cleared first.
