Neverness to Everness Co-op Unlock and Multiplayer Setup

Neverness to Everness Co-op Unlock and Multiplayer Setup

Co-op play in Neverness to Everness sits behind a short progression gate. The mode supports parties of up to four players across exploration, combat, racing, mini-games, and home visits, but the main story stays solo only.

Quick answer: Push through the opening quests until you hit Hunter Level 8, then open your in-game phone, tap the Multiplayer icon (next to Tutorial), and search for a friend's UID on the same server region to send an invite.

Unlock requirement

The co-op feature is locked at the start of the game. You unlock it by raising your Hunter Level, which climbs as you complete the opening main quests, side quests, and early activities in Hethereau. Most players reach the threshold somewhere between 25 and 35 minutes into the playthrough, depending on how much side content gets touched along the way.

The unlock point is Hunter Level 8. Once you cross it, the Multiplayer option becomes selectable inside the in-game phone interface. Every friend you want to play with also has to clear the same milestone in their own save before invites will work.

Region and account prerequisites

Two things need to line up before invites go through. First, both accounts must be on the same server region; UIDs from a different region will not appear in the search results. Second, you need each friend's UID, which is the unique numeric player ID shown in the profile menu.

Switching regions is possible if a friend is on a different server, but expect higher latency and longer load times when you move away from your home region.

Sending an invite

Step 1: Open the in-game phone after reaching Hunter Level 8. The phone interface appears on the right side of the screen with multiple app pages.

Step 2: Navigate to the second page of apps and tap the Multiplayer icon, which sits next to the Tutorial option. This opens the multiplayer menu with a search bar at the top.

Step 3: Paste your friend's UID into the search bar. If they share your region and have unlocked the feature, their profile will appear in the results.

Step 4: Select the player and send the invite. They accept from their side to drop into your world, or you can accept their invite to join theirs instead. The host's progression determines which content is available during the session.

Common reasons invites fail

If a friend is not appearing in the search bar or cannot accept your invite, the cause is almost always one of three things. They have not yet reached Hunter Level 8, they are signed in to a different server region, or the UID being entered is incorrect. Confirming all three before troubleshooting further will resolve most cases.

📝
Note down your own UID from the profile menu before coordinating with a group. It saves time when several friends need to invite each other in the same session.

Once everyone is in, party content scales for up to four players, and you can drop in or out of friends' worlds freely between activities. Story progress stays tied to the host's save, so plan campaign chapters for solo time and keep co-op sessions for the open world, races, mini-games, and home tours.
