NTE City Tycoon Level 12: Requirements, Wealth Board Unlock, and Rewards

NTE City Tycoon Level 12: Requirements, Wealth Board Unlock, and Rewards

Tycoon Level 12 is the rank where the Wealth Board opens up in Neverness to Everness, alongside a fresh stock rotation at the Hunter Exchange. It sits just past the Pink Paws Heist unlock at Level 11, and clearing it pushes you toward the bigger milestones at Level 18 (Chiz) and Level 21 (Contemplative Cat Arc).

Quick answer: Reach 2,329,600 lifetime Fons, complete Exploration Guide Chapter 5, and hit Management Level 3 at The Cafe by Origen. Then open the City Tycoon menu and press Level Up.

Level 12 requirements

Two gates must close at the same time. The Fons counter tracks lifetime earnings, so spending Fons on cars, apartments, or Hunter Exchange purchases does not reduce your progress. The objectives, on the other hand, are hard checks tied to specific systems.

GateRequirement
Fons (lifetime)2,329,600
Objective 1Complete Exploration Guide - Chapter 5
Objective 2Reach Management Level 3
Prerequisite levelTycoon Level 11 (Pink Paws Heist cleared once)

Leveling does not happen automatically once both gates are met. Open the City Tycoon menu, head to the Level Up screen, and confirm the upgrade to collect the rewards.

Clearing Exploration Guide Chapter 5

The Exploration Guide ties directly into your Hunter progression and world traversal. Chapter 5 entries include combat encounters, district footprint checks, and a handful of side activities you may have skipped while focused on the main story.

Step 1: Open the Exploration Guide and filter to Chapter 5 tasks. Look at which entries are still incomplete and group them by district to cut down on travel time.

Step 2: Knock out any combat tutorial entries you skipped. These are easy to miss and can stall the chapter even if every other task is done.

Step 3: Finish the remaining footprint and material domain tasks. The chapter ticks complete the moment the last required entry is checked off.

Reaching Management Level 3 at The Cafe by Origen

Management Level is the staff skill tier at your cafe, not a global account stat. You raise it by upgrading the two employees you have assigned to a shop. Each upgrade requires Fons and unlocks higher-priced dishes plus more foot traffic.

Step 1: Open The Cafe by Origen menu and assign two characters as employees. Mint and Adler boost dish prices, while Skia and Aurelia raise customer traffic.

Step 2: Upgrade their management skills until the shop's Management Level reads 3. Spread upgrades across both employees rather than dumping everything into one.

Step 3: Unlock available recipes, swap in the highest-priced dish for each slot, and restock for a 24-hour cycle. The Management Level gate is hit purely by the upgrade tier, not by revenue.

💡
Tip: Skip the in-cafe delivery service for ingredients. The fee stacks onto restock costs and quietly cuts into your Fons margin. Buy ingredients in person instead.

Hitting the 2,329,600 Fons threshold

By the time you clear Level 11, you should already be sitting on a healthy chunk of Fons from the Pink Paws Heist completion. To close the remaining gap to roughly 2.33 million lifetime earned, lean on the highest-density activities first.

SourceWhy it matters
Pink Paws HeistLargest single Fons drop in the game, biweekly reset, costs no City Stamina.
The Cafe by OrigenPassive hourly income. Collect revenue every login and restock daily.
City Stamina activitiesFlat 1,000 Fons per stamina point. City Delivery and Owner's Selection burn stamina the fastest.
Open-world safesFixed Fons drops at the bank, hospital, and three bandit camps. Roughly 500,000 Fons total in one sweep.
Realm of Greed (Mammon)Weekly clear from inside your first apartment. Requires the Blind Mammon anomaly activated with a Gluttonous Eye.
Daily missions20,000 Fons every day. Cheap and consistent.

City Stamina refills weekly, not by the minute, so spending it before reset is the most important habit at this stage. Every unspent stamina point is 1,000 Fons you cannot recover.

Level 12 rewards and unlocks

The reward pop-up at Level 12 includes both immediate currency and a permanent feature unlock.

TypeReward
UnlockWealth Board (Pawbes Rich List)
UnlockNew stock at Hunter Exchange
ItemAnnulith x20
ItemHunter EXP x500
ItemAnomaly Hunt Material Selection Box x3
ItemBeetle Coin x7,500

The Wealth Board is a leaderboard ranking the top 100 players by accumulated Fons in Hethereau. Climbing it grants profile titles. Refreshed Hunter Exchange stock typically adds Annulith bundles, Tri-Keys, and ascension materials that you can buy with Fons.

How to verify the level-up

Open the City Tycoon menu (F5 on PC) and check the rank panel. Both the Fons bar and the two objective rows should show as complete. Press Level Up to trigger the reward pop-up. The Wealth Board entry will appear in the City Tycoon side menu immediately after, and the Hunter Exchange will display new items on its next refresh.

If the Level Up button stays greyed out, one of the two objectives is still incomplete. The most common stalls are an unfinished combat tutorial buried inside the Exploration Guide Chapter 5, or assigning only one employee at the cafe instead of two when chasing Management Level 3.

What Level 12 sets up next

Reaching 12 puts you on the runway toward the rewards that matter most: Chiz at Level 18, her signature Arc at Level 21, and the doubled Fons cap on her combat passive at Level 25. The Wealth Board also gives you a longer-term Fons sink to chase if you want to climb the leaderboard.

From here, the gating shifts toward footprint points in named districts and higher House Comfort and House Collection thresholds, so start exploring Bridge Crossings and Unheard Shores between cafe restocks if you want to stay ahead of the curve.
