NTE Ebisu Auction House: Unlock, Bidding, and Weekly Items

NTE Ebisu Auction House: Unlock, Bidding, and Weekly Items

The Ebisu Auction House is a weekly bidding system in Neverness to Everness (NTE), tucked inside the Kape Grand Hotel in the New Herland District. It sells rare items, character upgrade materials, and a few pieces that you cannot get anywhere else, all paid for in Fons. Access is gated behind story progress rather than exploration, so you cannot wander into it early.

Quick answer: Finish the main story quest "Deal? Deal!" (Chapter 3, Mission 4). After that, fast travel to the Never-Ending Arachne marker in Eibon, choose The Kape, talk to Iris, and interact with her again to join the auction.

Unlock requirements

The auction is locked until you complete the fourth main mission, "Deal? Deal!". The quest unlocks automatically after the third main mission, "Love that Begins with Lies", and starts in Old Town near Eibon. Inside that mission, the sub-quest "This Trip Has Only One Purpose" takes you to the Kape Grand Hotel for the first time, where Iris grants entry to the B2 Ebisu Auction Hall.

You will know the unlock worked when "Deal? Deal!" is marked complete in your quest log and the auction hall option appears at The Kape. From then on, you can return any time without retriggering the story.

How to enter the auction each week

Step 1: Open the map and fast travel to the Never-Ending Arachne marker in Eibon. When the teleport prompt appears, pick The Kape rather than the open-world point.

Step 2: Walk into the cafe area and approach Iris at the front. Speak with her to be moved into the auction room.

Step 3: Interact with Iris a second time and confirm to join the auction. The bidding interface will load with that week's item list and starting prices.

How bidding works

Each lot has a starting bid in Fons. NPC bidders raise the price in increments, and you must outbid every NPC to take the item home when the gavel drops. You can match the next increment to keep things cheap, or place a very large bid in one go to push competitors out immediately. Both approaches are valid, but oversized bids drain Fons that you will want for upgrade materials later in the rotation.

Once the gavel hits, the result is final. There are no refunds and no take-backs, so confirm the item is one you actually need before pushing your bid.

Weekly refresh and manual reroll

The item pool resets on a weekly schedule. If the current lineup does not contain anything you want, you can also manually refresh the pool to draw a new set of items in the same week. Plan your spend around the reset so you do not waste Fons on a low-value rotation when a refresh would give you a better board.

Priority items to bid on

Two items stand out for early players. The Gluttonous Eye and Covetous Coins are needed to activate the Mammon (Blind Mammon) Anomaly Furniture in your first apartment, which unlocks the weekly Realm of Greed Anomaly Zone. Clearing that zone returns roughly 45,000 Fons on the first completion, so the items pay for themselves quickly. Higher Mammon levels increase the weekly Fons payout.

After those two, prioritize character upgrade materials. Pixels for upgrading characters are capped by other systems, so buying materials at the auction is often faster than waiting for natural refreshes. Skill-up items such as the Good Boy Stamp are also worth bidding on if they appear and you have a unit that needs them.

ItemWhy it matters
Gluttonous EyeRequired to activate Mammon furniture for the Realm of Greed weekly zone.
Covetous CoinsPairs with Gluttonous Eye to unlock weekly Fons rewards from Mammon.
Character upgrade materialsBypasses Pixel refresh caps for faster character leveling.
Good Boy StampSkill level material for unit skill upgrades when it rotates in.
Liquid Dream Travel KitRotating rare item that appears in some weekly pools.
Note: Some items are exclusive to the auction and cannot be obtained from other shops or drops, so it is worth scanning the full lot list before committing Fons to any single bid.

If the auction option does not appear

The most common reasons access fails are tied to story state rather than bugs. The auction will not show up if "Deal? Deal!" is still active in your log, if you skipped objectives inside "This Trip Has Only One Purpose", or if you never spoke to Iris at the Kape Grand Hotel during that sub-quest. Returning to the quest line and finishing it cleanly resolves all three cases.

If the weekly item list looks empty or unchanged, check the in-game clock against the weekly reset. The auction inventory rolls over on a fixed weekly cadence, and any unspent budget from the previous week stays in your Fons total, so there is no penalty for waiting one rotation if nothing on the current board fits your build.
