Every material total needed to build Shinku in Neverness to Everness, plus the exact enemies, bosses, and stores that drop them.

Shinku is the S-rank Cosmos damage dealer added in Neverness to Everness Version 1.2, and building her to full power takes a spread of enemy drops, weekly boss loot, skill books, and a very large pile of Beetle Coin. Her kit rewards you for pushing both her levels and her skills, since her Ultimate is where most of her damage lands. Here is exactly what you need and where each material comes from.

Quick answer: To fully level Shinku and her skills you need Lost Whispers x57, Obscure Whispers x58, Paradoxical Whispers x79, Charging Knight Spark Plug x86, Dress Sleeves of Vanity x35, Nestling’s Longing x40, Dove’s Flutter x42, The Olive Branch x65, Dreamless Seed x96, and Beetle Coin x2,783,000.

Full Shinku material list

These totals cover Shinku’s ascension, level cap, and every skill upgrade. Beetle Coin is the single largest requirement and doubles as the general currency for leveling, so plan around it first.

Whispers: Lost, Obscure, and Paradoxical

The three Whisper tiers are common enemy drops, so they are the easiest bulk material to stack while you explore. You get them by defeating Dream Spawn, Whisper Spawn, Wind Spawn, Leech Spawn, and Lost Spawn enemies out in the world. Lower-tier drops can be combined upward, which helps you reach the 79 Paradoxical Whispers Shinku needs.

Charging Knight Spark Plug from the Headless Rider

Charging Knight Spark Plug is Shinku’s signature ascension drop, and the only place to get it is the Headless Rider boss. At 86 needed, this is the material most likely to slow you down, so clear the fight every time it is available rather than saving it for later.

Skill books: Nestling’s Longing, Dove’s Flutter, and The Olive Branch

Shinku’s skill upgrades use three Cosmos ability books. You can farm Dove’s Flutter and its higher rarities in the Houdinii’s Schemes Anomaly Zone near Oia Avenue. The same books, along with Nestling’s Longing and The Olive Branch, are also available from the Hunter Exchange store and the Open Material Selection Box, and Dove’s Flutter can additionally be produced through synthesis.

Because these feed her skill levels, and her skills scale her Ultimate directly, prioritize them once your ascension mats are moving. Weekly exchange stock refreshes, so make those purchases part of your routine.

Dress Sleeves of Vanity from the weekly boss

Dress Sleeves of Vanity is a weekly boss material. You get it by completing The Never-ending Arachne Anomaly Pilgrimage in Talin Avenue. Since it is capped at three claims per week, it is time-gated, so the 35 total requires steady weekly clears rather than a single grind session.

Dreamless Seed for Life Skills

Dreamless Seed goes toward Shinku’s Life Skills. You collect it from Daily Activities, the Lost Exchange store, the Hunter’s Exchange, and by renovating your property. None of these require boss fights, so it accumulates passively as long as you keep up with dailies.

Beetle Coin: The biggest requirement

At 2,783,000, Beetle Coin is the largest single cost and the one most likely to be a bottleneck late in your build. Farm it by clearing the Houdinii’s Magic Stage Anomaly Zone, running Daily Activities, completing quests, and buying from the Hunter Exchange store. Keep this income active in the background so you never stall a level-up because your coin reserve ran dry.

Farming order that avoids bottlenecks

Time-gated drops should always come first, because you cannot rush them later. Prioritize in this order to keep progress steady.

  • Charging Knight Spark Plug from every available Headless Rider clear.
  • Dress Sleeves of Vanity from your three weekly Never-ending Arachne clears.
  • Skill books through Houdinii’s Schemes and weekly Hunter Exchange restocks.
  • Whispers while you explore and clear world enemies.
  • Beetle Coin and Dreamless Seed passively through dailies and quests.

You will know a level or skill upgrade went through when the character screen shows the new value and the material count drops. If an upgrade won’t confirm, it is almost always because a boss or weekly material is short, since those are the drops you cannot farm on demand. Keep the Headless Rider and Never-ending Arachne on rotation and the rest of Shinku’s build fills in quickly.
