The Advanced Stove is the third and final stove tier in Once Human, and you need it for the game’s more advanced consumables. Butter and caviar are cooked on it, and so are Malt Ale, Corn Ale, Cheese, and Pickled Cucumber, even though those last four recipes come from the Brewing Barrels tech. There are two ways to unlock the build recipe. You can reverse engineer a stove you find in the world, or you can spend Tech Points on it. The world-find route costs no points, and it takes about a minute once you reach the right building.
Quick answer: Recycle the Advanced Stove in the kitchen of the abandoned store near the East Blackfell Junction Worldstone in Iron River. Then reverse engineer it at the Tech Research Workbench under Construction.
Advanced Stove location in East Blackfell Junction
The stove sits in an abandoned roadside store in East Blackfell Junction, inside the Iron River region. The building is close to the Worldstone – East Blackfell Junction teleport point, so if you’ve already repaired that Worldstone, you can fast travel almost to the door. The Worldstone area has a recommended level of 35.
- Region: Iron River
- Area: East Blackfell Junction, near the Worldstone
- Approximate map coordinates: (7073, -3412)
- Landmarks: a graffiti-covered roadside shop across from a parked cement mixer truck
- Exact spot: the kitchen behind the counter, next to a Canning Recipe
Advanced Stoves also turn up in other settlements and strongholds. The East Blackfell Junction store is a fixed, easy-to-reach spot that you can count on.

The kitchen doesn’t always spawn the Advanced Stove. Sometimes a different machine appears in its place. If that happens, leave the area and come back later so the spawn can reset.

How to confirm the Advanced Stove recipe is unlocked
Once the queue finishes, the workbench shows a “Recipe Unlocked” message for the Advanced Stove. The item’s entry under Facilities then lists “How to Get: Construct in Territory.” That means you can place it from Build Mode inside your territory. If the stove now appears in your Build Mode facility list, the unlock worked.
Unlocking the Advanced Stove through the Tech System
If you’d rather skip the trip, the Advanced Stove is also a Tech in the fourth tier of the Survival category. It sits in Sequence 04 Exploration and costs 5 Tech Points. The full price depends on the scenario you’re playing.
| Scenario | Tech unlock cost |
|---|---|
| Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve | 5 Tech Points |
| Endless Dream, Evolution’s Call, Manibus, Prismverse’s Clash, RaidZone, The Way Of Winter | 5 Tech Points + 700 Energy Link |
The Tech’s details window lists this enhancement on the “Advanced Tech” tab. It reduces cooking time by 60% on the Advanced Stove and Stardust Fusion Stove, while dishes remain fresh for twice as long. The effect works only on stoves built after the enhancement is applied, so rebuild any stove you have already placed to receive the bonus.
Advanced Stove build materials
Unlocking the recipe is only half the job. You still build the stove in Build Mode, and the material list changes with the scenario.
| Material | Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve | Other listed scenarios |
|---|---|---|
| Steel Ingot | 50 | 25 |
| Parts | 15 | — |
| Metal Scraps | 10 | — |
| Power Cable | 1 | — |
| Aluminum Ingot | — | 10 |
| Special Part | — | 10 |
| Refined Part | — | 10 |
| Glass | 10 | 7 |
| Electronic Part | 10 | 10 |
Some scenario and server settings use other recipe variants. One uses Alloy Steel Ingot and 400 Wakeful Sand, and another uses Military Gear. Check the Build Mode cost on your own server before you start farming. If you already have an Advanced Stove in your inventory, such as the one you recycled from the store, you can place it instead of paying for a new build.
