An Alpha Pal is a rare, oversized version of a normal Pal, and in Palworld 1.0 its egg always hatches one size larger than usual. The base game only gives breeding eggs a slim chance to come out Alpha, so there is no in-game toggle that forces it. The only reliable way to hatch an Alpha from every egg you breed is a PC mod that raises that chance to 100 percent.
Quick answer: Install UE4SS and PalSchema, then drop the 100% Alpha Breeding mod into the PalSchema mods folder. Every egg produced in a Breeding Farm afterward hatches as an Alpha Pal, with no change to the offspring species, passives, or mutations.

How Alpha eggs work in the base game
Alpha Pals can appear from two egg sources, and each behaves differently. Eggs you breed at a Breeding Farm carry a small chance to turn Alpha, a feature that was added during Early Access and remains in 1.0. Wild eggs you pick up in the world, along with eggs dropped by Bellanoir, also have a chance to be Alpha, with the Bellanoir drop sitting at a fixed 10 percent.
Two things confirm an Alpha before you even hatch it. The egg is one size category larger than a normal egg of that element, and once hatched, the Pal keeps its larger frame and higher stats. None of this is guaranteed in the unmodified game, so grinding for a specific Alpha through breeding can take many eggs.

The 100% Alpha Breeding mod only changes the Alpha chance. Breeding combinations, passive skills, and mutation rolls stay exactly as the game handles them. It runs on the PalSchema framework, so you need that framework and its dependencies in place first.

How to confirm it worked
The check is simple. Every egg the Breeding Farm produces should appear one size larger than the standard egg for that element, which is the visual tell for an Alpha. When you incubate and hatch it, the resulting Pal is Alpha every time rather than only occasionally.
The child species still follows the normal breeding formula, so pairing choices matter exactly as before. You are only guaranteeing the Alpha flag, not overriding which Pal you get.
Why the Alpha result may not trigger
- The mod folder was placed in the wrong directory. Steam needs the Win64 path and Game Pass needs the WinGDK path.
- PalSchema is older than 0.6.0 or your UE4SS build is not the version PalSchema supports for 1.0.
- You are not on the full 1.0 release, which the mod requires.
- You expected wild eggs or dropped eggs to change. The mod only affects eggs created through breeding.
To remove the mod later, delete the “100% Alpha Breeding” folder from the PalSchema mods directory, and breeding returns to its normal small Alpha chance. Since this changes core gameplay balance, keep it to solo or private worlds rather than shared servers where other players expect standard rates.
