World Tree Holy Water is an endgame crafting item in Palworld 1.0 that you need to harvest World Tree resources without them vanishing, and to build several powerful base and Ancient recipes. It only exists inside one place on the map, so knowing where to farm it saves a lot of wasted travel.
Quick answer: World Tree Holy Water drops only inside the World Tree biome. Enter the area, touch the glowing spring at the start for 10 free units, then defeat or capture the Pals there. Each World Tree Pal has a 50% chance to drop 1–3, and chests in the region give 5–10 guaranteed.
Where World Tree Holy Water drops
You will not find this item anywhere else on the map. It is tied entirely to the World Tree region in the far southwest, which sits behind the main story progression. Reaching it takes strong Pals, a well-built base, and enough map coverage to get there in the first place.
Once inside, two things produce Holy Water. Almost every Pal that lives in the biome drops it when defeated, and treasure chests in the endgame location hand over a stack at once. You do not need to push deep into the most dangerous corners to start collecting.

| Source | Amount | Chance |
|---|---|---|
| World Tree Pals (defeated) | 1–3 | 50% |
| World Tree chests | 5–10 | Guaranteed |
| Starting spring interaction | 10 | One-time |

The quickest way to start crafting is a no-combat method right at the entrance to the World Tree map.
Fastest Holy Water farm with drop boosters
To build a large stockpile fast, combine a strong flying mount with a Pal that boosts drops from a matching element, then clear packs of high-level Pals. Faleris is the standout choice because its Scorching Predator partner skill makes Ice Pals drop far more items while it sits in your party.
The bonus scales with Faleris’s star rating, so condensing it raises your yield. Its Aqua variant does the same thing for Fire Pals instead of Ice Pals, letting you match the booster to whichever element you plan to hunt.
| Faleris star level | Bonus item drop |
|---|---|
| 0-star | 40% |
| 1-star | 50% |
| 2-star | 60% |
| 3-star | 70% |
| 4-star | 80% |
Note: The +80 element boosters only apply to matching Pal types, so Faleris helps against Ice Pals and Faleris Aqua helps against Fire Pals. Dumud Gild and Nitemary carry a flat +200 bonus that applies to any matching source.
Best Pals that drop World Tree Holy Water
Dozens of World Tree Pals drop the item at the same 50% rate for 1–3 units, so the best targets are simply the ones that cluster together or die fast. Aegidron leads as a field boss, while the reliable open-world spawns sit at level 73–80 inside the biome.
| Pal | Drop rate | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Aegidron | 50% (1–3) | Field boss |
| Bastigor | 50% (1–3) | World Tree Lv 75–80 |
| Beakon Cryst | 50% (1–3) | World Tree Lv 75–77 |
| Dualith | 50% (1–3) | World Tree Lv 73–80 |
| Dupin | 50% (1–3) | World Tree Lv 72–74 |
| Starryon Primo | 50% (1–3) | World Tree Lv 76 |
These are among the strongest creatures in the game, and aggroing several at once can quickly turn dangerous. Pull carefully and lean on area attacks from a high-level mount to clear groups safely.
What World Tree Holy Water is used for
In your inventory the item reads as a Rare Consumable with the description, “Sacred water brimming with the energy of the World Tree. It purifies all things and awakens latent powers. When consumed, World Tree resources will not vanish when approached for a period of time.” That effect is the main reason to keep a stack on hand.
Without it, World Tree resource pieces can disappear before you reach them after breaking a deposit. It also feeds directly into endgame crafting. It appears in 12 recipes, including the Dark Awakening Crystal, Dragon Awakening Crystal, Drone Launcher, and various Ancient base items.
It stacks up to 9,999 with a weight of 1, so there is no penalty to carrying a deep reserve. You know a farm run worked when the loot list on the left of the screen lists World Tree Holy Water after a kill, and the count climbs in your inventory. If nothing drops, you are almost certainly outside the World Tree biome, which is the only place it appears.
