Palworld: All Pal Effigy Types, Effects, and Locations (1.0)

Every Pal Effigy stat buff, where they appear on the map, and how many you need for each track in Palworld 1.0.

Palworld 1.0 turned the old Lifmunk Effigy into a full Pal Effigy family. These glowing statues sit on stone pedestals across the map, each shaped after a different Pal, and each feeds its own permanent player stat track when you hand them in at a Statue of Power. There are 13 effigy types in total, with roughly 407 hand-placed effigies scattered across the Palpagos Islands and the World Tree.

Quick answer: Pick up glowing effigies on pedestals for Exploration EXP, then offer them at any Statue of Power (or one inside an Abandoned Church) to raise the stat tied to that Pal. Keep a Nox in your party so its Kuudere partner skill pings nearby effigies.

Every Pal Effigy type and the stat it raises

Each effigy family upgrades one player stat and nothing else. The quantity column below is how many of that effigy exist as map collectibles. Lifmunk is by far the largest track, while Lunaris, Relaxaurus, and Yakumo are limited to just four each.

How to offer effigies at a Statue of Power

Collect effigies out in the world. Each one gives Exploration EXP the moment you grab it, and it stays in your inventory until you spend it.
Interact with a Statue of Power. You can build your own, or use one already standing inside an Abandoned Church.
Palworld - Offer Lifmunk Effigy
Choose the effigy type you want to spend. Each family feeds its own stat, so Lifmunk effigies only raise Capture Power, Rooby only raises Jump Power, and so on.
Confirm the upgrade. The stat bumps up right away and the buff is permanent on your character. The cost climbs with every rank, so later ranks demand a lot more effigies than the first few.

Note: The buffs are tied to your character, so you can hand effigies in at any Statue of Power and the progress carries with you.

Finding effigies faster

Effigies are easy to skim past in daylight but glow brightly at night. A few habits cut down the hunt considerably.

  • Keep a Nox in your party. Its Kuudere partner skill pings nearby effigies, which is the single biggest time saver.
  • Watch for the colored glow on a small stone pedestal. Each effigy glows in its Pal’s color.
  • Search cliff edges over water, the base of large lone trees, and alcoves against rock faces, where placements cluster.
  • Use the World Tree region toggle as well as Palpagos Islands, since effigies exist in both map regions.

Movement, hunger, and food effigies

Several effigy tracks smooth out the moment-to-moment survival grind. Lamball slows how fast your hunger meter empties, while Munchill keeps food in your inventory fresh for longer. Cattiva reduces the stamina your mount burns, so you can run, fly, and swim greater distances before stopping.

Traversal effigies: swimming, jumping, gliding, and climbing

Four families make getting around the islands quicker. Pengullet raises swim speed and cuts the stamina cost of swimming. Rooby increases jump height. Herbil improves glide speed while draining less stamina, and Tanzee lowers the stamina used when climbing vertical walls.

Rare effigy tracks: Lunaris, Relaxaurus, and Yakumo

Three families have only four map placements each, so plan to collect all of them if you want more than a rank or two. Lunaris grants Sphere Tracking, making thrown spheres pursue their targets, and each rank raises the tracking rate by 25%. Relaxaurus boosts EXP Gain, though some bonus EXP sources are excepted. Yakumo raises Rainbow Fortune, which improves the odds of wild Pals spawning with stronger passive skills.

Mimog Effigy is a capture reward, not a map pickup

The Mimog Effigy raises Movement Speed, but you will never find one glowing on a pedestal. Instead, you earn one automatically after catching five of the same Pal species, completing that species’ capture bonus. Since each Pal in the Paldeck can grant one, the total pool is 286 Mimog Effigies. The full Movement Speed track runs across 92 ranks and caps at a 50% boost.

One last thing worth knowing: any Lifmunk Effigies you collected before 1.0 carry over untouched, so early progress on the Capture Power track is not lost. With the family expanded to 13 stat lines, the effigies you prioritize come down to how you play, whether that is faster capture rates, longer glides, or simply spoiling less food on long trips away from base.
