Palworld: How to Make Cement (Recipe and Materials)

Unlock Cement at level 19, gather the three ingredients, and craft it at a High Quality Workbench.

Unlock Cement at level 19, gather the three ingredients, and craft it at a High Quality Workbench.

Cement is a crafting material in Palworld used to build sturdier structures and to make several higher-tier items. You cannot pick it up in the world or loot it from Pals. It has to be produced at a base, which means unlocking the recipe first and collecting three separate ingredients.

Quick answer: Reach level 19 to unlock Cement in the Technology tab, then craft it at a High Quality Workbench using 20 Stone, 1 Bone, and 1 Pal Fluids.

Cement recipe and requirements

Before you can craft anything, the recipe has to be unlocked in the Technology tree, and you need the right crafting station. Cement is produced at a High Quality Workbench.

The High Quality Workbench is found under the Production tab of the build menu. If you can also access a Production Assembly Line or Production Assembly Line II, you can queue larger batches and let Pals with the Handiwork work suitability craft in bulk while you do other things.

Where to get Stone

Stone is the easiest of the three ingredients. It sits loosely on the ground almost everywhere, so you can walk up and press F to grab small amounts. Striking rock formations with a Pickaxe gives you Stone faster, along with Paldium Fragments.

For a steady supply, build a Stone Pit at your base and assign a Pal with the Mining work suitability. It generates Stone over time while you are away exploring, which keeps your Cement production topped up.

Where to get Bone

Bone comes from specific Pals when you defeat, capture, or butcher them. It can also be produced at a Ranch or bought outright if you prefer to skip the hunting.

  • Defeat or capture Pals that drop Bone: Anubis, Bushi, Cawgnito, Gorirat, Loupmoon, Maraith, Rushoar, Vanwyrm, Vanwyrm Cryst, Verdash, and Vixy.
  • Place a Vixy in a Ranch, where it digs up Bone over time.
  • Buy Bone from a Wandering Merchant for 100 Gold each.

Where to get Pal Fluids

Pal Fluids drop from Water-type Pals. Coastal areas and small islands are good hunting grounds, since Water Pals gather near the shoreline in groups.

  • Defeat Water Pals such as Teafant and Croajiro to collect their dropped Pal Fluids.
  • Put a Kelpsea in a Ranch to produce Pal Fluids passively.
  • Buy Pal Fluids from a Wandering Merchant for 300 Gold each.

How to craft Cement

Open the Technology tab and unlock Cement, found on the level 19 row. You need to have reached level 19 for it to be available.
Build a High Quality Workbench from the Production tab of the build menu if you do not already have one at your base.
Walk up to the workbench and press F to select a recipe. Scroll down to Cement to see the material cost of 20 Stone, 1 Bone, and 1 Pal Fluids.
Choose Cement, set how many batches you want with the quantity slider, and start production. A Pal with the Handiwork work suitability will process the workload, or you can craft manually.

You know it worked when the finished Cement appears in your storage or inventory once the workload bar completes. If production stalls, check that you have enough of all three materials and that a Pal with Handiwork is assigned to the base.

What Cement is used for

Cement goes into stronger building structures and a range of crafted items. Stockpiling it early pays off, because the recipes that need it climb quickly in level requirement.

Ultra Sphere353
Legendary Sphere445
Intermediate Fishing Rod (Cattiva)Yes

Because Cement feeds into higher-tier capture spheres and base upgrades, it is worth setting up passive sources for Stone, Bone, and Pal Fluids as soon as you hit level 19. A Stone Pit, a Vixy Ranch, and a Kelpsea Ranch together keep the workbench supplied without constant hunting trips.
