How to redeem codes in Pass or Explode
Codes are entered from inside a live match server, not from a menu screen. Follow these steps in order.
A successful redemption immediately adds the Coins or crate to your inventory, and the code box will clear or show a confirmation so you know it went through. If nothing changes, the code has already been used on that account or has expired.

What the Basic Effect Crate gives you
The FREECRATE code hands over a Basic Effect Crate, which normally costs 500 Coins or 8 Robux in the shop. Opening it unlocks one of five Kill Effects, cosmetic animations that trigger when you successfully pass the bomb to an opponent right before it detonates on them.
