Atlus has named the first batch of English voice actors for Persona 4 Revival, the remake of Persona 4 Golden heading to PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on February 18, 2027. The remake uses a brand-new English cast rather than bringing back the actors from earlier Persona 4 releases, so familiar characters from Inaba now have different voices behind them.

Quick answer: Five English roles are confirmed so far — Nazeeh Tarsha (Protagonist/Yu Narukami), Paul Castro Jr. (Yosuke Hanamura), Anne Yatco (Chie Satonaka), Brianna Knickerbocker (Yukiko Amagi), and Ari Thrash (Marie). More casting will follow.

The roles these actors are playing

The Protagonist, commonly known as Yu Narukami, is the silent main character whose voice you mostly hear during attacks and short flavor lines. Nazeeh Tarsha takes on that role for the remake.

Yosuke Hanamura is the Protagonist’s first close friend in Inaba. His family runs the Junes superstore, and his social link covers his softer side and his interest in motorcycles. Paul Castro Jr. voices him and earned a 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards nomination for best English performance for his work as Hikaru.

Chie Satonaka is the energetic, kung-fu-obsessed friend who pulls the group toward beef bowls and martial arts movies. Anne Yatco plays her. Yukiko Amagi, voiced by Brianna Knickerbocker, is the heir to the Amagi Inn whose story leads players into the game’s first dungeon.

Marie, voiced by Ari Thrash, was added in Persona 4 Golden as a resident of the Velvet Room alongside Igor and Margaret. Since Revival is built on the Golden version of the story, her content carries over from the start.

Japanese voice cast reprising their roles

Unlike the English dub, the Japanese cast returns from prior Persona 4 releases. The same five roles have been confirmed in Japanese so far.

Release date and platforms

Persona 4 Revival launches on February 18, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. At launch, it will be available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and it supports Xbox Play Anywhere across Windows and Xbox Series X/S. The PC version is listed on Steam.

The remake is a faithful reproduction of Persona 4 Golden’s story, rebuilt to match the look and systems of Persona 5 Royal and Persona 3 Reload. Ryota Kozuka, who scored the original Persona 4, returns to compose new and rearranged music, with vocalist Shiori Sasaki performing the vocal tracks. Expect the cast list to expand as Atlus reveals more characters ahead of launch.
