Mystery Gift in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is a built-in feature that lets you redeem time-limited codes and online distributions for cosmetic items, held items, and occasionally special Pokémon. As of late February 2026, only a small set of universal codes are still active, alongside an always-available online gift.

How to unlock the Mystery Gift feature
The Mystery Gift menu is not available immediately on a new save. To enable it in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet you must first reach a Pokémon Center and unlock the Poké Portal.
How to redeem Mystery Gift codes in Scarlet & Violet
Redeeming active serial codes requires only an internet connection; a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is not needed.
- Get via Internet
- Get with Code / Password
- Check Mystery Gifts
- Check Poké Portal News
STRACKSU1T or NE0R0T0MC0VER, select Get with Code / Password. Enter the code exactly as shown, including numbers and zeroes, then confirm. The game will connect and search for the associated gift.To verify what you have already redeemed, use the Check Mystery Gifts option on the same menu. This lists previous Mystery Gifts claimed on that save file.
When a code is valid and within its active period, the game always shows the gift name before final confirmation. If you do not see this preview and instead get an error, assume the code cannot currently be used and check whether it is expired, mistyped, or incompatible with your version.
