Day 6 of Predictive Victory Dynamics, the Genshin Impact 7.1 betting event, is Quarterfinals – Group B. It has two simulated monster battles, and four teams are left from the Round of 16. You don’t fight in these matches. You place Victory Emblems on the side you expect to win, the simulation plays out on its own, and your Prediction Score goes up based on the multiplier attached to your pick.
Quick answer: Group B is Reserve Grenadier Squad vs. A Little Chubby Crisis and What Does the Ninken Say? vs. Round-and-Frost Assault. In both matches the favorite sits at 70% support (×35) and the underdog at 30% (×70).
Quarterfinals – Group B matchups, support rates, and multipliers
Group B opened on October 17 and gets its own 24-hour prediction window. Early in that window, the in-game counter read 23 hour(s) 37 minute(s) under “Time Remaining for This Prediction Round.” The support and multiplier figures below come from that same early point.
| Match | Team | Support Rate | Score Multiplier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Match 1 | Reserve Grenadier Squad | 70% | 35 |
| Match 1 | A Little Chubby Crisis | 30% | 70 |
| Match 2 | What Does the Ninken Say? | 70% | 35 |
| Match 2 | Round-and-Frost Assault | 30% | 70 |
The two matches use an identical split: the favorite pays out half the underdog’s amount. Support Rate shows the share of players who picked each side, and changes as predictions are placed. It becomes fixed before the fight starts, so the multiplier in your panel is the one that applies.
Group B comes with 100 Victory Emblems. You can put them all on one match or split them between the two. Splitting them evenly, 50 per match, looks like this in the Match 1 panel:

The second match uses the same Predict the Winner dialog. You pick a side and set the Emblem count before you confirm.

Add to Google Preferences →How Prediction Score is calculated for a quarterfinal pick
A correct pick pays the Emblems you placed multiplied by the locked Score Multiplier. This showed up exactly in Quarterfinals – Group A. Fifty Emblems on a ×40 side came back as 2,000 score. Applied to Group B’s current numbers, the payouts work out like this:
| Emblems placed | Pick | Multiplier | Score if correct |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | Favorite | 35 | 1,750 |
| 50 | Underdog | 70 | 3,500 |
| 100 | Favorite | 35 | 3,500 |
| 100 | Underdog | 70 | 7,000 |
A wrong pick still earns something. In Group A, a 50-Emblem bet on the losing side returned 500 score and was marked “Prediction Unsuccessful.” The round’s total then appears on a summary screen as the Round Score.
Close fights don’t run forever. When a battle goes long, the banner “The battle enters the Vicious Battle phase! Both sides continuously lose HP!” appears, and both teams start losing HP over time. In a long match, the team with more HP and more staying power tends to come out ahead.
Group B teams and their Round of 16 paths
All four Group B teams reached the quarterfinals through Round of 16 Groups C and D. Each of these matches pairs up two Round of 16 winners who were in the same group.
- Reserve Grenadier Squad beat Seahorse and Crab in Group C. It’s a Fatui lineup with high-HP Melee and Single-Target units, and every unit attacks as soon as it enters the field.
- A Little Chubby Crisis beat Consecrated Beast Frightfest in Group C. It’s a large Slime squad with lower HP and ATK per unit, plus a Single-Target Geo Slime in the back row.
- What Does the Ninken Say? came through Group D, where it played Simple-Soul Hilichurl Fighters in Match 1.
- Round-and-Frost Assault came through Group D, where it played Ultra-Ancient Heavy Assault Formation in Match 2.
Match 1 is a few sturdy, front-loaded attackers against a big group of weaker units. Single-Target damage is strong against AoE-type enemies, and Melee is strong against Ranged. Before you place Emblems, open each unit’s details in the panel. It lists ATK, maximum HP, skills, and starting position.
Quarterfinals – Group A results from Day 5
Group A’s results come out when Group B opens, and they show how far the support numbers can be from the actual outcome. On Day 5, Saurians Are the Cutest held 58% support against Little Fungi Clan and won as expected. A correct 50-Emblem pick at ×40 paid 2,000.

Match 2 went against the crowd. Unofficial Blazing Beasts Members had 77% support, but Mirror Fruity Order, sitting at 23%, won. A 50-Emblem bet on the favorite earned only the 500-point consolation. Combined with Match 1, the round total came to 2,500.

That 2,500-point gain raised your running Prediction Score from 9,750 to 12,250. In one round, you cleared two tiers in Prediction Score Rewards. The “Reach a Prediction Score of 12000” tier grants 2 Hero’s Wit, 40,000 Mora, and 40 Primogems. Unclaimed tiers remain available in the Prediction Score Rewards menu.
Remaining Predictive Victory Dynamics rounds and deadlines
Group B is the sixth of eight daily rounds. Each round closes 24 hours after it opens, and a missed round can’t be made up later. That includes its participation reward of 20 Primogems and 20,000 Mora, which you get for placing Emblems whether your team wins or loses.
| Stage | Opens / closes (UTC+8) |
|---|---|
| Quarterfinals – Group B | Opened October 17 |
| Semifinals | Opens October 18 |
| Final Showdown | Opens October 19 |
| Final prediction cutoff | October 20, 09:59 |
| Results phase closes | October 23, 09:59 |
The Group B winners move on to the Semifinals, where they meet the Group A winners, Saurians Are the Cutest and Mirror Fruity Order. After the final prediction cutoff, the panel stays open through October 23 for viewing results and claiming any score tiers you’ve already unlocked. You can’t submit new predictions during that period, so a pick has to be in before its own round’s timer runs out.
