Project Slayers 2: How to Get a Katana in Roblox

The katana is the weapon most new players in Project Slayers 2 want in their hands within the first few minutes, and it is sold rather than dropped. One NPC, Raze, handles the entire transaction from a small shop on the starting side of the map, and there are only two blades on the stand to choose between.

Quick answer: Travel to Raze’s Sword Shop, just south of Windy Peak, and interact with one of the two katanas beside Raze. The Regular Katana costs 500 Cash, the Fancy Katana costs 1,500.

Raze’s Sword Shop location in Project Slayers 2

Open the in-game map and look at the area around the starting zone. Windy Peak sits at the top of that cluster, and Raze’s Sword Shop is marked directly south of it. The marker is the fastest way to confirm you are heading the right direction before you start running.

From Windy Peak, follow the dirt path downhill. It runs into the village area with wooden buildings and lotus ponds, and the shop sits along that route. It is a short run on foot, so you do not need any movement unlocks to reach it.

How to buy the katana from Raze

Run over to the shop and look for the NPC displaying the name Raze overhead. He is outside beside his stock, so you do not need to enter a building or open a menu first.

Look at the two swords planted in the ground beside him. They are labelled Regular Katana and Fancy Katana, and you buy by interacting with the blade itself rather than through a shop menu.

Interact with the katana you want. The Regular Katana brings up a prompt reading “Would you like to purchase ‘Regular Katana’ for $500 cash?”, while the Fancy Katana asks for 1,500.

Use the pop-up to approve the purchase. Its cost comes out immediately, while the katana is placed directly in your inventory instead of your hands.

If you are short on funds, buy the Regular Katana now and keep grinding. The blade you carry does not lock you out of anything later.

Equip the katana and check the purchase worked

Buying the sword does not equip it. Open your inventory, move to the Katana category, select the blade you just bought, and press Equip. Seeing it listed there is the confirmation that the purchase registered.

Back in the world, unsheathe the weapon and throw out a few basic slashes. Your character swings the katana instead of punching, and landing hits starts building Sword Mastery, which is separate from your character level.

Regular Katana or Fancy Katana

Both blades come from the same stand and both count as a katana for mastery purposes, so the decision is mostly about how much Cash you want to spend early. The Regular Katana at 500 is the standard pick for a fresh character, since it gets you swinging a sword during the opening bandit quests without draining your wallet.

The Fancy Katana triples the price at 1,500. If you have already banked cash from early quest turn-ins and want the pricier option on your stand, it is available from the same NPC with no extra level requirement or unlock step.

Once the katana is equipped, you can go back up the path and start clearing the early quest chain with a real weapon in hand. Raze stays where he is, so returning for the second blade later is only ever a short run back down from Windy Peak.
