The Underwater Rocks task is the diving portion of Water Breathing training in Project Slayers 2. There is no combat involved. You dive into the river beside Bamboo Grove Sanctuary and collect five glowing blue Sea Crystals from the riverbed while your oxygen slowly drains. The crystal positions are randomized on every run and every server, so there is no fixed route to memorize.

Requirements to unlock the Underwater Rocks task
Underwater Rocks is a training assignment inside the Water Breathing questline, not a standalone quest. Urokodaki only hands it to you after you meet his unlock conditions. If the task does not appear, your level is the usual reason.

Gather all three before heading to the trainer so you do not have to make a return trip. Demon Horns drop from Hoyuzo Subordinates at a 30% chance for one horn, while the Hoyuzo Boss drops three at a 50% chance, so farm horns while you level toward 25.
Find Urokodaki at Bamboo Grove Sanctuary
Urokodaki, the Water Breathing trainer, is tucked away in a hidden chamber close to Bamboo Grove Sanctuary, at the main map’s upper-right corner. Find the small house on the island, surrounded by water, bridges, and waterfalls.
From the front of the house, check beside the main bridge on its left side. A clump of bushes sits near pink flowers, concealing a short underwater tunnel. Dive in, swim forward through it, then climb the ladder at the far end to enter Urokodaki’s room. The passage is brief, and a full oxygen bar gives you plenty of time to make it through safely. Speak with him to begin the quest.
Where the Sea Crystals spawn and what they look like
The five Sea Crystals sit on the riverbed in the waters surrounding Bamboo Grove Sanctuary, near the shrine and torii gate. They stay submerged on the bottom rather than floating or resting along the bank, so always search the riverbed itself.
- Each crystal gives off a bright blue-green glow that stands out sharply against the dark riverbed, so they are easy to pick out from normal rocks and debris.
- Search close to the waterline or along the riverbed’s higher contours; the crystals don’t appear in deep, concealed trenches. If you find yourself far below, you’re looking in the wrong place.
- The five crystals are distributed across separate sections of the area, so search different stretches underwater instead of expecting to find them all together.
- Positions are randomized on every run and every server hop, so there are no fixed coordinates to follow.
Scan the riverbed from above the surface before you commit to a dive. Spotting the blue glow first saves oxygen you would otherwise waste searching blind.
How to collect all five Sea Crystals
T. The counter updates the moment you grab it. Limit yourself to one or two pickups per dive instead of chasing all five on one breath.When crystals are hard to find in your current server, switch to a new one. The change resets their positions and may put them in a more convenient arrangement.
Managing oxygen and drowning damage
Managing air is the key difficulty. While you are below the water, a five-bubble oxygen gauge appears over your character and gradually empties. Swimming uses its own stamina meter as well. At the surface, both gauges refill immediately, so several short dives are safer than searching underwater for one long stretch.
When the bubbles empty, the screen edges pulse red and you begin taking drowning damage. If the meter runs out completely, your character dies and you have to restart the dive. Drowning only resets your current dive, though, so the overall Water Breathing questline and any crystals already counted stay intact.
When the screen flashes red, abandon the search and swim directly to the surface. Don’t delay to collect another crystal.
Confirm the task and what comes next
The tracker at the left side of the screen records each pickup. When it reaches 5/5, the number resets and the objective vanishes, confirming that all five crystals registered. If pressing T leaves the total unchanged, you are beyond the pickup prompt’s reach. Step back onto the crystal, wait until “T Pick Up” appears, then press it once more.
Collecting the five crystals clears the diving portion of training. Swim back through the underwater tunnel to Urokodaki and continue with the remaining Water Breathing tasks. The last one is the Water Trainee Sabito mini boss. Beating him unlocks Water Breathing in your Skill Tree, where you can start buying Water Surface Slash and the later techniques.
