In Project Slayers, Ouwigahara is the endless-wave activity, and its chests are the only dependable source for building a stockpile of Firstlight and Nightfall crafting materials. Shop-bought Luck multipliers modify those drops for a fee, but they consume real-world minutes, so timing their use matters more than simply purchasing them.
Quick answer: Bank unopened chests across several runs, then activate 4x Luck (30m) for 765 Robux and open everything in one sitting — free floor milestone chests first, then the 5,000-point chests.
Where Ouwigahara Chests come from
You enter Ouwigahara through the hub, with room for parties of up to four players. New waves continue to appear, higher floors bring larger enemy groups, and a boss or event usually occurs about once every 90 seconds. Each defeat adds to a point counter, but those points cannot be spent until the run is over.
Chests arrive from three places. Bosses inside the run drop them, the post-run shop stocks them on its second floor (you climb the ladder inside the shop to reach them), and the stationary point chests in the lobby open for 5,000 points each. The V.12 update added a fourth source: a free chest for every 10 floors cleared, which appears as separate prompts for Floor 10, Floor 20, Floor 30 and onward.
Depth is what sets the size of a batch. A run that stalls near Floor 60 lands somewhere around 120k points, pushing past Floor 70 clears 238k, and long clears finish north of 400,000 — enough for dozens of point chests on top of the free milestone ones.
Other V.12 changes that touch the same economy include Wen conversion moving to 1,000 Wen for 2,500 points, coin pouches now selling for 1,000 Wen, and the Tomioka Serenity Discount applying to refinement and non-series crafting.

2x Luck and 4x Luck: Cost and duration
Both multipliers are bought with Robux from the in-game shop menu, and both last 30 minutes from the moment they activate. Players with the Plus discount pay less than the base price.
| Boost | Price | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| 2x Luck | 270 Robux (base 300) | 30 minutes |
| 4x Luck (30m) | 765 Robux (base 850) | 30 minutes |
The timer runs on real time, not run time. It keeps counting while you queue, sit in the shop, or stand around the village, which is why buying it mid-run wastes most of what you paid for.
Stockpile unopened chests and unspent points across several runs, then buy the boost once and empty the whole pile inside a single 30-minute window.

Ouwigahara Chest drop rates
The pool leans heavily on consumables, then thins out fast as rarity climbs. Everything at 10% and above is effectively elixir restocking; the two entries under one percent are the reason people run long sessions at all.
| Drop chance | Items |
|---|---|
| 50% | Jumbo Health Elixir, Jumbo Stamina Elixir |
| 45% | Jumbo Health Regen Elixir |
| 10% | Old Lantern |
| 5% | Black Hooded Scarf, Black Lilly Haorie, Blood Stained Ingot, Brown Scarf, Dark Green Haorie, Frigid Metal, Green Vine Haorie, Purple Flower Haorie, Rusty Necklace, Sakura Haorie |
| 4% | Lantern of Everlasting Glow |
| 2% | Blood Necklace, Butterfly Necklace, Reaper Necklace, Thunder Necklace, Water Necklace, Vigilante Scarf |
| 1% | Black Bamboo Amigasa, Claws |
| 0.5% | Polar Top |
| 0.25% | Polar Bottoms |
The Polar Top is the headline pull at 0.5%, carrying +250 max health, 10% health regen, 7% damage reduction and a sword bonus. Polar Bottoms sit at half that rate. Blood Stained Ingot feeds Devourer weapon upgrades and Frigid Metal feeds the Polar weapon variants, which is why both 5% entries are worth more than their rarity suggests.

What Luck changes in practice
Luck does not rewrite the drop table. It changes how often the low-percentage entries land, which only becomes visible across a large batch rather than a handful of opens.
Without a boost, chests around Floor 60 and Floor 70 mostly contain cosmetics and an occasional material, such as an Azure Necklace, a Red Oni Mask, a Firstlight Star Ore, or Firstlight Weaver’s Silk. With a 2x Luck boost, equipment and forged materials appear more often; examples include Flame Amigasa, Fractured Web Kata-Aki, and the Firstlight Forged Ingot. Blacksmith Togane requires those ingots and silks for the Firstlight recipes.

Using 4x Luck makes high-tier rewards show up regularly enough to notice over 30-plus chests, including the Nichirin Lantern, Silver Fang Mask and Nightfall Weaver’s Cloth. One session that opened 103 chests with repeated 4x Luck boosts produced this material haul:
| Material | Count from 103 chests |
|---|---|
| Firstlight Forged Ingot | 7 |
| Firstlight Star Ore | 6 |
| Firstlight Weaver’s Silk | 6 |
| Nightfall Forged Ingot | 8 |
| Nightfall Reinforced Plating | 8 |
| Nightfall Weaver’s Cloth | 8 |
Dry streaks still happen inside that sample — several batches in a row returned nothing but plating and ore. Luck raises a rate; it does not guarantee a pull.
Spending leftover points and leftover minutes
Points that fall below the 5,000 threshold are not wasted. Changer Zeni in the WEN AREA trades them for currency and materials, with 1,000 Wen costing 2,500 points after the V.12 buff and Refinement Ore priced at 1,500 points.

Use any boost time left over in the overworld. Overworld bosses, rather than the dungeon, drop World Events Chests, and Luck affects those rewards as well. While the timer is active, head to the Wilderness and fight a boss such as Gyutai to receive the same Firstlight materials along with boss-specific equipment: Gyutai’s Outfit has a 0.5% chance without Luck, compared with 50% for Blood Scythes and 5% for Uncircular Slices.
For Mythic materials specifically, the Archives menu lists the Ouwigahara Chest as a 5% source and the World Events Chest as 2%, so the dungeon remains the better place to spend a fresh boost. Overworld bosses are the cleanup act for the final minutes.
Getting deeper runs for bigger batches
Stock elixirs before you queue
There is no dependable natural healing inside a run, so potions are mandatory. Buy Health Elixirs and Health Regen Elixirs from Mercy before entering. The green regen potions only function during passive regeneration, which means a damage-over-time event such as Hemorrhage cancels them outright.
Use the terrain on each map
On the Normal Map, use the big rock in the center as your safest position: draw the wave around one side, climb onto the rock, then attack the enemies gathered below. For the Tent Map, the raised shelf behind the tents serves the same purpose by splitting up the enemies and giving you a downward attack angle. On the Snow Map, begin from across the bridge so enemies cannot drop into the lower water trenches; the cliff rims above the frozen lakes can also hold groups of demons in place.
Time orbs and read the events
Ground orbs remain available for roughly three minutes, letting you leave them until their effect is useful. Picking up a Wisteria Orb when a new stage has started immediately defeats every enemy that just spawned, while Health Regen Orbs are best left untouched until a player needs healing. Double Orb multiplies all points by two, and the “W” orb combines with it to award 16 points per kill.
- Every roughly 10 seconds, Time Stop freezes everyone; leap immediately before its audio cue to avoid being caught.
- For the entire minute, No Stamina Regen and No Healing prevent the use of potions, clan skills and orbs.
- Myropia reduces render distance; switch your lantern off, then on again, to regain some visibility.
- Petrify leaves new spawns at 1hp but grants no points for killing them.
Bringing at least three players keeps enemy density — and therefore point income — high, but larger parties also scale enemy health upward.
Confirming the Luck boost is active
Once the Robux transaction completes, the shop displays a purchase confirmation, and the multiplier appears among your active boosts with a countdown. If the remaining time is visible, the boost is applied — it remains active while you open chests on the Ouwigahara shop’s second floor or collect World Events Chests in the overworld.
One failure case is worth repeating because it costs real materials rather than Robux: if your inventory fills up part-way through a large batch, rare drops can be lost. Clear duplicate masks, scarves and low-tier accessories out before the first chest opens.
The value proposition is limited but clear. Luck does increase the rate of high-tier rewards over 30 or more chests, yet randomness remains, and the 30-minute real-time timer makes buying it before you have chests ready a poor choice. For a 0.5% Polar Top or a particular Firstlight recipe, save the chests first, purchase one boost, and open them all during one sitting. Before spending Robux on a session, review the current build and announcements on the Roblox game page.
