Promotion: Stardust’s Blessing is the Growth Story quest that moves you out of the Student ranks and into Wayfarer I in Aniimo. It is a hard gate on progression, because your character and Aniimo level caps sit at 40 until you clear it. The quest is short, but it has two fail points that matter: a duel against Senior Loulla and a three-question theory test with Dr. Lewis.

Quick answer: Hit Level 40, finish Elite Training Chapter 3, then beat Loulla in Berylline Vale at night and answer Dr. Lewis with Defeat the Alpha Aniimo, Throw a Sparkling Cube at any Aniimo, and Glacy.

Unlock requirements for Promotion: Stardust’s Blessing

The quest does not appear in your log on its own. Dr. Lewis calls you once both conditions below are met, and you accept the Growth Story from that call.

  • Reach character Level 40 — side quests, catching Aniimo and general exploration all feed this.
  • Complete the required missions in Elite Training Chapter 3, which asks for four of its seven objectives.
  • Have a team that can handle Level 40 opponents, since the duel is an Elite Pathfinder Challenge.

Chapter 3’s seven objectives include earning the Collection Badge in Echoback Landing, earning the Mistwoods Collection Badge, obtaining the Super Truffle deeper in Mistwoods, infusing the Breezy Plains Branch 15 times, equipping an Epic Held Item on an Aniimo, nurturing the Breezy Plains ecosystem once, and defeating Alpha Panpanta in Echoback Landing. Pick whichever four overlap with what you are already doing — equipping an Epic Held Item you already own is usually the fastest single tick, and the Super Truffle folds into the Chapter 3 story anyway.

Level 40 is the entry requirement, not the finish line. You do not need to be Level 45 before promoting — 45 is the new cap you get afterwards.

Berylline Vale: The midnight concert and clue analysis

Answer Dr. Lewis’s call to accept the quest, then open your map. The destination in Berylline Vale is marked automatically, and the closest jump is the Rising Flame waypoint in Breezy Plains.

Glide down from the waypoint to the circular stage platform below, where Senior Loulla is waiting with her Aniimo. The quest marker counts down the distance as you approach.

Talk to Loulla, then switch the time of day to night and speak to her again. The concert sequence will not start during the day, and this is the single most common place people stall out.

Join the midnight concert and inspect all four clues that appear around the stage. They are labelled Hexxin’s Song, Stellarys’s Stars, Fragrancier’s Fragrance, and More Powerful Plants. You need every one before the objective advances.

Ask Loulla for her thoughts on the concert to open the Elite Pathfinder Challenge. The matchup screen names her as the Holder of the Shadow Star Badge before the fight begins.

How to beat Loulla’s Dark team

Loulla fields three Level 40 Dark-element Aniimo. The game itself recommends Wind and Light Aniimo for the matchup, and that advice holds — Light coverage in particular shortens the fight considerably.

Bring four Aniimo of your own so you have swaps available when one gets worn down. A mixed roster of a sustain unit, a burst damage dealer and a Wind or Light attacker clears it comfortably at Level 40. Once Loulla is down, talk to her again to close out the Berylline Vale portion of the quest.

Dr. Lewis theory test answers

Teleport back to the Outpost in Breezy Plains and speak to Dr. Lewis to begin the theory assessment. It is three multiple-choice questions, and they are served in a random order, so read each one rather than clicking positions from memory.

QuestionCorrect answer
How can you obtain Held Items that strengthen Aniimo abilities?Defeat the Alpha Aniimo
How can you get Sparkling Aniimo most quickly?Throw a Sparkling Cube at any Aniimo
Which of the following Aniimo has a healing skill that can restore HP?Glacy

All three have to be right. Answer them correctly and the promotion fires immediately, then keep talking to Dr. Lewis to wrap up the remaining dialogue.

Wayfarer I rewards and what unlocks

The promotion itself is the main prize. Both caps move at once, and two new nodes open on your talent tree.

RewardDetail
Character level cap40 → 45
Aniimo level cap40 → 45
World Level+1
Report Cards+6
TalentsRevive, Research Expert
Credits50,000
Safaris400
Aniipod Mega20
Sparkling Crystal50

Reaching Wayfarer I also makes the Prismana Pact available, letting you pick a free Rare Prismana Aniimo. Report Cards are your skill points, so spending the six you just earned on the newly unlocked talents is worth doing before you head back out.

Capability Awakening and Star Dust

Talking to Dr. Lewis one more time after the promotion walks you through Aniimo Capability Awakening, the system the quest is named for. It spends Star Dust to raise an Aniimo’s innate potential attributes, covering ATK, HP, P.DEF, M.DEF, REGEN and BREAK. The tutorial has you apply the first upgrade to your starter, so you do not need to hunt for the menu yourself.

How to confirm the promotion worked

Three things change on screen once it is done. Your title in the character profile reads Wayfarer I instead of III Student, the level cap indicator on both your character and your Aniimo shows 45, and Capability Awakening appears as a usable option rather than a locked tutorial prompt.

Back in the overworld, your quest tracker should have rolled over to the next main story objective, Ancient Sacred Fragrance. If it has, the Growth Story is fully closed out and the next promotion, Promotion: Core’s Nurture, will open once you reach Level 45 and clear Elite Training Chapter 4.
