Race For Eggs! (Roblox): How to Beat Every Boss Race on a Fresh Start

Speed thresholds, dumbbell costs, and the Exclusive Shop pets that carry a new save from Green World to the Mammoth.

Race For Eggs! runs on two numbers that never touch each other. Speed decides whether you cross the finish line first. Cash decides how fast you can afford the things that raise speed. A fresh save starts at 15 speed, which is enough to grab a Basic Egg off the starter track and nothing else, so the entire run is a loop of lifting weights, winning eggs, hatching pets, and rebirthing until the next boss is beatable.

Quick answer: Buy the heaviest dumbbell you can afford, lift until your speed clears the boss, then finish 1st. A 1st-place win hands you the boss egg and opens the next world’s portal.

Speed and cash are separate tracks

Pets do not make you faster. They generate cash per second at your base, and that cash buys dumbbells, base fence upgrades, and dice. Speed comes only from lifting, and each rep adds a flat amount tied to the dumbbell you are holding, multiplied by whatever speed gamepass tier you own.

That split explains why a run can stall. A base pulling billions per second still loses the Ice Kingdom race if the weight in your hands is too light, because the opponents there scale far past anything Green World gear can produce.

Dumbbell order and speed multipliers

The Weights Shop in Green World sells its stock in a fixed ladder. Work through it in order and re-lift after every purchase, since the old weight stops being worth the time immediately.

After the Frozen Dumbbell the prices jump into the billions, and so does the payoff.

Speed multiplier gamepasses stack on top of every rep and are bought with Robux. The tiers climb through x32, x64, and x128, and buying one retroactively changes nothing already banked, so the earlier you own it, the less lifting you repeat.

World order and boss races

Each world has one boss race. Win it in 1st place and the boss egg drops into your inventory. Place the egg in your base pen, and the portal to the next world becomes the only thing left to do.

WorldBoss1st-place egg
Green WorldT-RexT-Rex Egg
Desert IslandSphinxSphinx Egg
Ice KingdomHamsterMouse Egg

The T-Rex falls to a run carrying a little over 200M speed, and the finish takes under five seconds. Desert Island is a much larger step, with wins landing after the Anvil Dumbbell pushes a fresh account past 90B. The Sphinx has gone down at 15B speed on a heavily rebirthed base, so the exact number moves with your multipliers rather than sitting at one fixed value.

Ice Kingdom is where undertrained runs break. Entering at 400B leaves you behind 5th place, and even 1.1T speed finishes last. Wins there arrive after speed crosses roughly 5T. The final boss, Mamoth, is a separate wall again and has been beaten at over 10.2Qa speed, dropping the Mamut Egg that hatches into an Elephant.

If the opponents pull ahead in the first second, quit the track immediately. Nothing is awarded for a late finish in a boss race, and the lifting time is better spent on the next dumbbell.

Finishing position decides which egg you get

Boss tracks hand out different eggs depending on where you place, which makes deliberately slowing down a legitimate farming method. On Desert Island, 1st place yields an Eternal Sphinx Egg, 2nd place in 4.623s produced a Cosmic Snake Egg, and a 10.321s run held to 3rd place returned a Secret Ostrich Egg.

Tracks are repeatable. Once a world is cleared you can return through the portal and run it again purely for eggs, and the auto-race toggle handles the repetition for you.

The Index menu lists every boss you have collected along with the tier ladder each egg can roll: normal, gold, diamond, radioactive, and rainbow. The same egg can hatch at wildly different values, which is why a second Sphinx Egg is worth farming after the first one hatches low.

Exclusive Shop pets and what they pay

The Exclusive Shop sells Robux pets and eggs that skip large chunks of the cash curve. The limited-time Magma Dragon Egg is the cheap entry at 60 Robux and hatches into a high-tier starter such as a Diamond Mothman or Special Bug. The Unicorn sits at 156 Robux. The Hydra is the headline item at 12,000 Robux.

The Hydra is not a fixed reward. Buying it a second time can roll a Rainbow Hydra Special, which produces over $50T/s instead of the standard $15B/s. That variant chance is the only reason to consider a repeat purchase.

Rebirths, base upgrades, and pet income

Rebirth resets your cash and multiplies everything you earn afterwards. Four rebirths early in Green World put the multiplier at x16, and the ceiling is Rebirth 10 at x1024 Cash. Separately, the base fence upgrade raises the cash multiplier for whatever pets are placed inside, and each world has its own fence to max out.

Pet income scales hard as you move worlds, so keep only your best pets equipped and clear the rest.

Cosmic Snake$132.4M/s
Diamond Sphinx$269M/s
Eternal Gold Bunny$15.3B/s
Eternal Sabertooth$18.7B/s
Eternal Diamond Dog$43.1B/s

With Rebirth 10 and a full team of eternal and rainbow pets, base earnings clear $150T/s, which makes every dumbbell in the shop affordable in seconds.

Luck dice, Playtime Rewards, and the Event Pass

Dice from the Lucky Shop raise the tier you roll when an egg hatches, which is the difference between a normal Sphinx and a Rainbow Sphinx. Ruby Dice costs 125B and is the practical target around Desert Island. Immortal Dice sits above it and comes out of the Event Pass rather than the shop.

Playtime Rewards accumulate while you are in the server and hand out eggs and cash bonuses. Claim the pending tiers before a long lifting session so the eggs incubate while you train.

The Event Pass runs on its own tier track and can be skipped with Robux to claim everything at once, Immortal Dice included. Turn on auto-race before you start claiming, since the track will keep running and feeding you eggs while the menus are open.

How to confirm a world is cleared

A boss race counts only when the results screen shows you in 1st. The boss egg then appears for placement, the Index fills in that boss’s entry, and the world selector lists the next destination. If the egg does not appear, you did not take 1st and the track needs another run.

Placing the egg in your base pen is a separate action from winning it. The pen shows an incubation timer, and the pet only starts producing cash after that timer completes and you equip it. Once the Elephant hatches from the Mamut Egg, every boss in the Index is accounted for and the remaining progress is purely rerunning tracks for better egg tiers.
