Regarding the Pain of Others Walkthrough in Honkai: Star Rail 4.5

Clear the Interplanar Jump! Difficulty III course in Universe Form and update the quest to "Talk to Jade."

Clear the Interplanar Jump! Difficulty III course in Universe Form and update the quest to “Talk to Jade.”

The “Regarding the Pain of Others” quest sends you into a 2D platforming challenge called Interplanar Jump! Difficulty III, run inside Astropolis Central District. You play as Trailblazemon in Universe Form, sprinting through barriers, spikes, and gravity flips to reach the end portal. Finishing the course is what advances the quest.

Quick answer: Enter the Interplanar Jump! Difficulty III portal in Astropolis Central District, clear the platforming course using sprint, spring pads, Sprint Balls, and gravity teleporters, then exit through the dimensional wall. The quest objective updates to “Talk to Jade.”

Where to start Interplanar Jump! Difficulty III

The quest asks you to head to the hotel terrace, and the route runs through the Interplanar Jump! Difficulty III portal in Astropolis Central District. Interact with the portal to load into the mini-game. A tutorial screen for Form Switch: Universe Mode appears first, explaining how to aim and move.

How Universe Form movement works

Universe Form is an aim-and-sprint control scheme. You click and hold to enter Aiming Mode, point in the direction you want to go, then release to dash. That sprint lets Trailblazemon pass through blue barriers, spikes, and fragile modules that would otherwise block you.

Two support mechanics keep you moving. Sprint Balls automatically launch you in a set direction and refill your sprint uses, and teleport portals flip gravity so you can travel between the normal and inverted halves of the map. A later spacesuit upgrade adds an invincible state during sprints, which knocks back certain obstacles and recovers jump energy.

Course walkthrough

Sprint straight through the first set of blue vertical barriers. Grab the Pixcoins along the opening stretch as you dash past them.
Clear the spike section using the green spring pads. Bounce off the pads to reach the higher platforms and skip over the spike traps rather than sprinting into them.

Hit the first Sprint Ball to launch into the teleport portal. This flips gravity and turns the map upside down for the next section.
Move through the inverted area. Use the upgraded sprint to break the orange blocks and pass through the teleport portals as you go.
Return to normal gravity and chain the vertical Sprint Balls to climb. Each launch carries you upward through obstacles while you pick up the coins along the way.

Time your dashes through the moving hazard blocks. Wait for a gap, then use enhanced Sprint Balls to push past the shifting obstacles safely.
